papanesta
So, the online pass slip included with new copies of Battlefield 3 suggests a new Medal of Honor is in the works. If you want to skip that link, go here and log in to your EA account. Website had to be the American version for it to work for me.
Daz
I remember hearing this a while back. So it seems pretty f*cking rapid for a sequel. Not sure what is going to happen with the devs and engine, seeing as it was split between sp and mp. I actually ended up liking the sp ALOT, and not liking the multi as much as I should have, for it being DICE and all. Which was the opposite of my expectations. It would be nice to have frostbite 2.0, but if anything id like some more of the realism the first game had. I hope for some more historically accurate engagements. Seeing as the Libya sh*t is near done with and bin laden is dead, maybe we could get something related to either of those. I REALLY get sick of shooting russians or chinese. I want to learn AND have fun.
FullMetal
Curious. Hope this time around Danger Close does the MP aswell and adds the weapons and gameplay elements from SP to MP. Which was what Dice did wrong. It was a decent game, Medal of Honor (2010), but it could've been so much better. Hope they polish it and do it more than right this time around. Marlowe.
Medal of Honour had a great Single Player Campaign, if I do say so myself. However, it was really short, Too short. But I enjoyed it alot. I hope they make it last a little longer next time around. The only reason I kept it was because it came with Frontline, and I love that game! Talk about good FPS campaigns. Meth0ds.
I have also heard of this. Though I don't play Medal of Honor too much but it will be great to see a new release.
Claude4Catalina
Seeing as the Libya sh*t is near done with and bin laden is dead, maybe we could get something related to either of those. I think it'd be cool to see two conflicting storylines; one as a SEAL time that culminates in Bin Laden's death, the other as an SAS team training Libyan rebels and one mission as an American fighter jet pilot bombing the living cheese out of Libyan compounds and such. talk about controversy. Cheat
I actually liked Medal of Honor a lot - gameplay-wise, it felt a bit unfinished and tacky, but I definitely liked the SP as it was one of the first FPS' to actually use real names of places and the whole Afghan scenery was up-to-date and well done enough to create a decent campaign. If they can finish it better this time, it could be good, they had a good concept.
Creed Bratton
A new shooter from EA already? This is ridiculous. EA and Activision just keep making these modern military shooters over and over again. How can people still enjoy them? And meanwhile I still have to wait god knows how long for a really good shooter. I am talking about a new Rainbow Six game of course. Damn you Ubisoft, just make one already. The market really is just saturated with them now. They are the popular thing now so I suppose they just want to follow the pop thing. Seddo
I know the market is flooded with shooters at the moment but i still enjoy the single player campaigns and will still put a few decent hours into multiplayer. Borrowed the last MoH off a mate and thought it was alright, liked the settings in the mountains and stuff and was nice to see a little something different in environments from other shooter games. I get the feeling that they want to make it decent but don't want to make it as good as Battlefield, maybe that's just me. Still will be keeping an eye out for this. tuareg
I'm alone on this one, but i liked the MoH MP a lot. It needs a LOT of work, but i hope they manage to improve it. The SP was meh. Although the part where Rabbit and Mother get captured in the hills was good. The level with the quads was also pretty cool.
Menaced
I absolutely loved the first Medal of Honor (2010). The online multiplayer was a little lacklustre, maybe, but I thought Danger Close did a reasonable job with the campaign. I do hope, however, that this time around we get to play as international Special Forces, like the British SAS or SBS. Would it have hurt Danger Close if they had involved the British SBS in the taking of Bagram Airfield? Afterall, it was the SBS who took that airfield in reality. Some missions taking place in Libya would be very nice, indeed. A mission revolving around the downed F-15, which fell out of the sky during the early stages of the intervention in Libya, would be lovely. Also, add a f*cking co-op mode this time. papanesta
I like the artwork, and I like that it's using Frostbite 2. Read previously that DICE aren't doing the multiplayer, which is interesting, to say the least.
CryptReaperDorian
I like the artwork, and I like that it's using Frostbite 2. Read previously that DICE aren't doing the multiplayer, which is interesting, to say the least. I'm actually kind of glad about that. MoH 2010's multiplayer was possibly the worst multiplayer DICE has ever made. The maps were almost completely unbalanced for Combat Mission, killstreak rewards ruined multiplayer, so many people abused bolt-action rifles since they killed with a single shot, they removed prone (which was present in the campaign), the Bradley handled like sh*t, and it had many more problems from where that came from. I found it fun for a while, but it just became both frustrating and boring after a while. I think Danger Close would have possibly done a better job with MoH 2010's multiplayer, and I hope they do very well with this upcoming title. papanesta
I did mean interesting in a good way. I enjoyed the multiplayer, maybe because I was good at it, but I want to see what Danger Close will do with it. Plus, It was clear that DICE rushed it, and I wouldn't want them doing that again, or spending less time on Battlefield 3 or other projects. Anyway, more details! Glad Mother, Preacher and Voodoo will be returning.
Menaced
Anyway, more details Nice, the SAS. Finally. It's bizarre they (and their sister service, the SBS) were completely neglected from the first game, they'd have fitted in perfectly considering a number of the missions were renditions of SAS/SBS missions, like the taking of Bagram Airfield. Nebby
sh*t just got real! I've really been looking for a more fast-paced DICE game similar to Battlefield and to be honest - I wasn't that impressed with MOH1. I think this will give MOH it's place in FPS. CryptReaperDorian
I just saw it. I don't know if I'll pre-order this game, but it looks like it might turn out great. Let's just hope that the protagonist has personality (Rabbit could have used a voice for instance), and I definitely hope the multiplayer is greatly improved. Seriously, no more killstreak rewards in FPS games! It's seriously annoying to get killed by a mortar and some precision-guided munition within ten seconds just because somebody is camping in their base with a bolt-action rifle. That being said, I really like the look of the ACOG sight. It looks almost exactly the same as the one in Battlefield 3. @Method: The only MoH game DICE worked on was MoH 2010, and they only did the multiplayer for that game. It was actually pretty much two games in one since it was made by two developers and had two game engines. Only Danger Close is developing MoH: Warfighter. papanesta
With the spawns in the previous game, you could destroy the other team in one good run. I got the requirements for that all killstreaks used achievement three times. Was so fun. The strafing run sounded amazing, and the cruise missile was basically just a fantastic final "f*ck yooou!" FullMetal
Cant wait for this, looks awesome. Curious AND hoping that theyre going to do some new things and try to innovate on some fronts. Also hoping that its going to be like BF3 multiplayer but more immersive and Tier one specific. MoH 2010 was good but you could see that Dice just used it to test and see if the system they were planning for BF3 would be fun and if people liked it. Alot of people liked it but it was way too basic and actually hoped the MoH system wouldve been what BF3 was kind of like... which is pretty much the best customisation system Ive seen so far in a popular and much played FPS game. Anyways lets wait and see .

TheShogunOfHarlem
As sick and tired of current gen FPS games, MOH 2010 stood out for a number of reasons as an under-appreciated game. (as far as SP is concerned) It was very flawed like most FPS games in the sense that it was incredibly short and obviously linear. It was also incredibly rough and glitchy. In spite of all of those flaws it was one of the better FPS SP campaigns that I have played. It felt authentic and I was glad that they thought to bring back the fire mode selector. However the current trend of SP FPS games means that I'll probably avoid this like the others.
