This is first tool for Manhunt2 (PC).

It allows you to edit any TEX archive of the game (compressed and uncompressed).

Very nice stuff! No more directx injections! smile.gif Hopefully someone starts a high res tex pack for MH2. If you haven't already you may want to post this at ProjectManhunt as I'm sure a lot of them would appreciate this. Any word on getting the data files open? They appear to be using SecuRom's SDFA protection.

Is it possible to make a tool like this, but for the modelspc.mdl files? I can only view what's inside of them using the glg tools. I suppose if it was possible, it would have been done by now. Don't LCS and VCS also use mdl?

May be yes... from old-old-old version PS2-mdl importer...

How did you do that? So, you used an old version of the mdl importer for 3ds max?

Which version are you referring to? The only version I could find is 0.3.1. I've tried that version. When I select an mdl file, and press open, nothing happens. Where can I get the version you're referring to?

I decided to make 2.0 version of this tool with PC PS2 and PSP support.

Planned:
PC TEX loading: Done
PS2 TXD loading: Done
PSP TXD loading: Done
Wii TXD loading: Done for DXT1 images

Exporting textures: Done
Viewing alpha channel: Done

Added "Export All" function

Replacing textures
PC: Done(Added MIP-MAP support)
PS2: WIP
PSP: Done

Also I want to make conversion function into GTA's TXD format (I think it will be very useful if you wish to put Manhunt2 levels into GTA)

No. I still need PS2 swizzling/unswizzling for 4 and 8 bit textures. Once I'll write it, i'll start to write replacing script (it common for PS2 and PSP, differs only by swizzling so I can kill two rabbits in one shot smile.gif )

PSP and PS2 swizzle different ways, ps2's swizzle and SA(PS2) is the same.

manhunt2 ps2 images can be used PS2 TXD MOD unswizzle.

Great tools(your tools)!

Great tools!

How did you get it to appear? I always get this error:

I do not known why get this error. maybe Lack of runtime support.

I known the txd format , than find pixels and palette offset.(i use hex editor, not is the viewer)

I first use quickbms decompress txd's zlib data ,2. on ps2txdmod open decompressed file, enter pixels and palette offset.
