Let Your Own Faction Rise

Welcome to LYOFR, a game similar to BUYSAG, but not completely. Instead of joining a gang, you join an army and create missions about them during this 'war' that rages throughout San Andreas.

Have fun and enjoy the game!

Rules1. No spam.2. You cannot rate missions unless you reached President rank.3. No more than three (3) members in one faction.4. You can't create your own faction unless you reached President rank.5. If you are President ranked, three factions is the limit you can create.6. The Game
For those who don't understand it, here's five steps list to help you: First of all, you join a faction. Secondly, you choose another faction with which you want to do war. Third, make a mission about fighting that faction. Fourth, try to get the highest score (rate). Last of all, after something like twenty missions, crush you opponant that has no more soldiers left.

Also, here's a six steps list of what to do when trading: First of all, you choose a faction. Secondly, you have to design a mission of what you are trading. Third, one faction sells the product and the other one buys it. Fourth, the faction that buys the product can sell it back to another faction. Fifth, the products all cost something. Last of all, buying eachothers base is possible, but it costs alot.

Faction Info

SAA, San Andreas Army, is the faction the most well established in the state and tries to protect it to their best.

U.S.S.R is Russia's army and is ready to kick SA's ass and wants to take it over and cause a giant war. With their strong troops, they'll surely win a lot of wars.

Global Defense is the next future tech army and needs Area 69 to make this happen. If they don't win the war they will be ruined and they will have no man left and no money to make their future tech bot.

The Triangle is more a rebellion group in SA, others say it is a terrorist group. They want to take the state over and bring it in ruins. They have a lot of soldiers, but a few armored cars and tanks.

Wings of Liberty is Liberty City's next tech army and has the same goal as GD. Only they want to take over almost everything including Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas. They are half way in making their tech bot and they will cause big wars.

Alright, the main post is fixed and V2 is officialy released. That means you guys can join a faction.

For those who played V1 and want to continue their stories, it will be possible for them to use their stats of version 1. That's what I want to do too.

Notna: Do as you wish. wink.gif

Secronom President: As I decided to continue my old story, here's the link to the five missions I designed:

-The Triangle

-Road Confrontation

-The Operation

-Close to Liberty

-Naval Action

-Trouble with Globale Defense

I just got an awesome idea. Have you thought about mercenaries yet?

A mercenary wouldn't belong in any faction. They would start with less money and less/weaker/no weapons. They would work for whoever pays. For example, faction x could hire an mercenary to kill some y faction members.

General Scrotum

I had an idea similar to that.

There would be a mercenary faction (beginning stats halved) that could take contracts from the other ones. If x wanted the elimination of a group of people in y faction, there could be a price for completetion (i.e. $5000 for the elimination, bonus $10 000 if quietly).

Still, I prefer your idea. It's much better than the mercenary faction. icon14.gif

A mercenary faction wouldn't be too good. A mercenary usually works alone, eventually has a partner or some computer freak support. I think we should try it out man.

EDIT: I declare war with USSR.

xMatix: Added the San Andreas Army in your Enemies slot.

Mati: Added the USSR in your Enemies slot.

Mati: As you said, we should try it out. I'll work on it and I'll foward it to you by PM to know what you think of it.

General Scrotum

Mati: I can say I liked the mission. How you placed the SAA soldiers throughout the base made it feel like a real base (not empty). I liked the shootout in the boat, even though it might be dangerous if the missiles did not explode and they explode while we are disarming them, and how you presented the beginning of the war with the USSR faction (ship takeover). I spotted an error or two such as 'missles' instead of 'missiles', but nothing much to make the player misunderstand the text.

That's a $115 for you and a +5 for your rank.

LYOFR Community: Should we use the same cash handing system as in BUYSAG or the rater hands out the money on how he 'feels' it?

All right, sign me up as Wings of Liberty at Ocean Docks.

I am gonna make my first mission soon, but after that it takes time before my next missions because I am focusing on my mission pack.

EDIT: Do we have to be in war between another faction, since I don't see a "gang war" - or "faction war" - really good idea, as seen in BUYSAG.

Do I need to make missions about buying troops as well?

If I buy a vehicle, can I use it only once?

Did any of the USSR troops die in my mission?

I want to buy these in my next missions:

- 50 soldiers.

- Knife

- Silenced 9mm

- Sniper Rifle

General Scrotum

Notna: Added you to the Wings of Liberty at the Ocean Docks property.

Notna: Well, it's your choice. You can be in peace, but I'd recommend you to be in war because this is what the game is after all: war.

Mati: You are not forced to do a mission about buying troops. That's useless, in my opinion.

Mati: You can use a vehicle as much as you like, after you buy it.

Mati: Since you got a +5 for your rank, it's a -5 for the USSR soldiers.

Mati: Adding your ordered weapons.

guib: You're seeing things. tounge2.gif
