Input
I think I lost the polaroid of it quite a while back, but my dad had a '77 Trans AM that he got as soon as the dealership started selling them. geraldflesy

Frontzie
What I remember my Mum has driven since I was about 4-5: 2000-2002: 1984 Fiat Panda 2002-2008: 1987 Land Rover 110 (held in high regard by the whole family, amazing memories 4x4ing at Tixover) 2008-2011: 2000 Renault Clio (sold the Land Rover as couldn't afford to run it anymore, Clio was awful) 2011-2014: 2011 Fiat Panda (first new car she had bought in a while, great run-about car) 2014-present: 2014 Fiat Panda (chopped in the previous Panda for this, think she's paying £15 extra a month, nicknamed the Land Rover 2.0 - same colour and leaked in the same place when we got it). Irish45455
My mom has had a quite a few cars in her time. She started driving when I was about six and has had a few cars since then. From what I remember she's had I believe it was a '96 Chevy Lumina that was maroon, the first car she had when I was little. After that we moved to Texas, and we got a hoopty van. It was a blue '90 Dodge Caravan that unbeknownst to us had a fire ant colony living in the trunk. We moved back up here to Massachusetts and were homeless for about eight years and didn't have a car. Around 2006 we got an apartment and my mom bought a Ford Freestar that was nice as hell... Until we found out the whole rear axle and suspension was completely shot and rusted all the way through, something the salesman conveniently forgot to mention. She junked that and then got a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country that was pretty sweet and had a TV and DVD system. We realized it was being recalled and so my mom had to drive a Chevy HHR loaner for a few months until they gave us the van back. Most of her kids had moved out so she sold it and got a Chevy Trailblazer that she didn't get her hands on for two and a half months... The dealership kept dicking her around, making stuff up about how it need an alignment, brake job and oil change. After my brother and I went down to talk to them we finally got the car (strange how it takes two and a half months to do three things that would in reality take a few hours to do) and when we got it home, my mom wanted to finally drive it, and the transmission didn't want to shift into reverse. We took it took Speedy's (closest decent mechanic) and they took the transmission apart and there was ground up metal in the transmission, and they said whoever owned it last had pretty much driven it like they had stolen it, and the engine oil was almost black. Two years have passed and now that everything is okay with it she loves it. Seats five, has a nice interior and has a pretty nice ride too. DelPaako
In the late 90's, my family owned a pretty successful landscaping company in Arizona. From 1999-2001, we had gone through 5 brand new cars. After #5, we became poor. We have had several cars since that era, but for now, I will only mention these 5. If you want the car history from 2003-present, just ask, and I'll make a post. #1 1999 Ford F-150 Super Cab Purchased brand new in 1999. It was my dad's truck, but my mom preferred to drive this over her own car at the time. It was sold the same year they bought it, as well as my mom's car at the time. #2 2000 Ford Taurus SES Purchased brand new in 1999. It was my mom's car, but she preferred to drive my dad's car at the time. It was sold the same year as they bought it, as well as my dad's car at the time. #3 1999/2000 Ford F-250 Super Crew Purchased brand new in 1999. It was payed for using the 2 cars previously listed. It was shared between my mom and dad. My dad was usually driving. It was sold in 2001. #4 2001 Ford Expedition XLT Sport. Financed brand new in 2001. The previous vehicle contributed to the down payment. It was a shared vehicle as well. It was involved in an accident the same year. We hit a deer while travelling to Utah. The front bumper and grille were damaged, as well as the passenger side door, leaving it unable to open. It was repaired within a couple weeks. We rented a newer Taurus while it was in the shop. It was sold in the same year. #5 2002 Ford Focus SE Manual. Financed brand new in 2001. The previous vehicle contributed to the down payment. It was also shared. It was repossessed in 2003. It may have been purchased outright, and broke down, but we couldn't afford to fix it. I am unsure which one happened. Until we had gotten enough money to finance the next 2 cars, we rented a 2001/2002 Pontiac Sunfire Coupe... #6-#16 will be posted if demanded. JRC99
Not sure on Mom's list. But Dad's first was a 76 Nova, then a 79 Camaro Berlinetta, then a late 70s Caprice 2 door, then a Ford EXP, then an S10 I think, then a 78 F100, then an 87 Ranger, then he had the 84 Bronco I'm still looking for, then we had a 2004 F150 FX4, between the Bronco and F150, we also had a 1991 Caravan he drove. That was replaced by a 2003 Ram with a Hemi, which was replaced with a 1995 F150 5.0, then he had a 2005 Ranger before leasing the 2014 Edge he has now. During the S10- F100 period, he had a 73 Firebird project car he put a 400 in. His first car; the '76 Nova '79 Camaro 1979 Caprice 1973 Firebird (had it between an S10 and the 87 Ranger, was a project car) When he got it: (It did have the stock hood with a hole cut for an Enderle scoop. After some work (Like a nice 400 in place of the Pontiac 350) 1986 or '87 (Dad doesn't remember) S10. Had an electrical fire. Traded it for work on the Pontiac 400 for the Firebird. 1978 F100 1987 Ranger Many on the forum have seen this one by now. And the 2004 F-150 Google maps has a street view from when we had the 91 Caravan And the 2003 Ram 1995 F150 2005 Ranger 2014 Edge And finally, his '16 F-150 Found a pic of the '95 F150. It was rust free when we got it. Added the '87 Ranger and Firebird. In one of the Ranger pics you can see the 78 F100 in the driveway. Added more pics and revised the list. Finally got a pic of the F-100. Added his new F-150 and the Caprice. Also, the S-10. Edited August 7, 2017 by JRC99

Killer Whale
My dad told me many times of the Chevy Malibu he had back in the 80s, plus other cars I barely remember off-hand He then got a 1983 Pontiac Bonneville Station Wagon. Wood paneling and all. After that, he got a 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser. My mom, when she began to drive on the mid 90s, she started with a 1988 Mitsubishi Mirage Then, a 1990 Plymouth Sundance After that, a 2000 Toyota Echo, the car I remember her the most. Now, it's a 2015 Hyundai Accent
DOUGL4S1
My dad is kind of a big Ford fanboy, with only 1 car he owned not being a Ford, and he wasn't the one to buy it: When my grandpa died he left his 60s or 70s-something VW Beetle as my dad's first car. He kept it for a few years. He then bought a Ford Del-Rëy, the car he had when he met my mom. He then had a '93 Ford Escort, the car they had when they got married. Also the first car I was ever on when I was born. He then bought a '96 Ford Mondeo Hatch in 2001. The Mondeo got stolen and crashed by late 2007, which totaled the car. And in 2013 he bought the car he has today: a 2005 Ford Fiesta Sedan. I don't think my mom ever had her own car, as she would take my uncle's and later my dad's car whenever she needed. Gnocchi Flip Flops
I don't know everything my parent's drove before I was born but I'll try. My mom: 1980's Nissan Sentra 1980's Toyota Celica 2004 Nissan Maxima 2003-2006 2007 Nissan Maxima 2006-2009 2009 Nissan Maxima 2009-2011 2012 Nissan Maxima 2011-2013 2013 Nissan Maxima May 1, 2013 - April 23, 2014 because of rear end collision 2014 Nissan Maxima we have now She's likely getting the new-gen Maxima next. Too many Maximas on her side lol. My dad: 1980's Toyota Celica 1992 Nissan 240sx mid-1990's-2003 2000 Volvo S70 2000-2005 2006 Nissan Frontier 2005-2007 2008 Nissan Altima 2008-2010 2010 Nissan 370z 40th Anniversary 2010-2012 2012 Nissan Pathfinder 2012-2013 2013 Nissan Altima we have now He's likely getting a Lexus IS350 F-Sport next. Updated: Mom dailys a dark blue 2017 Maxima SR and dad, a bluer 2017 Titan SL. For some stupid reason, between that 2013 Altima and the new Titan, he had gotten a base grey Frontier. Don't ask me why. Technically they also own a red 2017 Sentra SV but it's really my sister's. Edited July 28, 2017 by Scaglietti
Cudwieser
Mother never drove, but if the cars my father drove the list is varied and long (that or my memory is fading ) In any case here are the cars I'm aware of (note I was born in 84 so I don't personally recall some of these cars, but many were verified by other sources) VW Beetle 1300 (was his mothers car and the first he drove when he got his license) BSA 650 Super Road Rocket Lambrettas and Vespas of some form or other Morris 1000 (Minor) Ford Zodiac (a few years later as I can't remmber the inbetween cars) Honda Civc (for work purposes only (lasted a month before the engine hit the road)) Peugeot 104 (another tool box) Renault 18 (first car I personally recall) Lada Riva Austin Montego Estate Renault Clio Mk1 Ford Escort Sedan Renault 19 Turbo Diesel Volvo 940 Renault Megane Scenic Mazda 2 (Motability) Mercedes C Class Auto (adapted for hand controls) Those are the cars I can remember my father driving (from recallection to what the rest of the family told me) before he passed on. Now I'm compiling my own list to tell the world of the wonders of motoring Edited August 5, 2017 by Cudwieser
