Imagebam and imageshack are only approved hosts for competitions 

This way, we can hex-edit pictures, and determine if someone has opened the tool in photo editing programs like Photoshop.

I have a question:

 

I use a program that change bmp picture to png picture. It reduces size of pictures (3.75MB -> 1.2MB) and not change the quality

Is it ok?

I don't think so, sorry dude. Just upload the original. I think imagebam takes up to 10mb? My test image i did was 8MB lol

Hey guys. I had a suggestion from a member here that maybe I should change the competition theme from Planes, Helicopters, Boats and Trains to Planes, Helicopters and Boats alias "non-land-transportation".

Is that okay for you guys?

Please tell me.

Btw, the ones who have posted comp. screen, you can resubmit another picture if you want.

I think its a great idea ! Will widen the field of pictures/ideas; and its still not the normal peds/cars screenshots which was the main idea behind the theme in the first place.

I don't think that anyone with train pictures can beat aircraft with beautiful skies or boats on nice tropic waters.

The competition is open to anyone to post their screenshot until the 27-04-13. The voting phase will last for 3 days and will end on the 30-04-13

 

 

 

- You can only submit ONE picture to be eligible in this competition

- Once you have stated a picture for the competition, you CANNOT change it after you have posted the image

- Deadline for posting a screenshot is the 27-04-13

- The Theme for this competition is non land vehicles. So you must include at least one of the 2 desired vehicle types: Aircraft and any kind of Water Vehicles

- You can include Cars, Bikes, Trains and Pedestrians aslong they are in the background and not the focus!

- Screens from III, VC & SA are Allowed!

 

 

 

- Please only post Thumbnails

- While we have always maintained that you cannot post a screenshot that has been edited using photoshop or any similar software. We will for this competition be very strict! A edited screen will not be permitted for the competition (editing, converting from one format to another etc) and we can easily find out if it has been edited or not! We hope you kept the unedited screenshot if your planning to repost it!!

- Your not allowed to edit your image in any way with any sort of image editing software (Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET etc).

- Watermarks on images are also not allowed

- Using image editing software to change formats is not allowed!

- Only ImageBam and ImageShack are approved hosts for images

 

 

 

 

- You can only cast ONE vote in choosing the 3 best screenshots you like (in order of 1st for the best screenshot, 2nd for second best & 3rd for third best)

- To make you're vote, use this format to make you're vote:

'1st: I vote for [user Name]& the reason (optional)'

'2nd: I vote for [user Name]& the reason (optional)'

'3rd: I vote for [user Name]& the reason (optional)'

- You are encouraged when giving you're vote to give a reason to why you voted for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd screenshots

 

- The 1st placed screenshot voted by the user will get 3 points, 2 points for the 2nd placed screenshot and 1 point for the third

- After the voting phase is finished, all of the screenshots that have been voted will get the points added up to determine which one has won the competition

 

Once the time span for posting a screenshot ends, I'll make a post with all the entrant's screenshots for everyone to decide which one is the best. If you've got any questions/concerns please make a shout out!

You guys who posted already can resubmit your pictures if you want to! Don't have to, only if you want to have a jet-ski/hovercraft picture for competition.

I think I went too fast with the competition. Now everything should be alright.

@MRZ: hmm I could imagine that your ENB is much too bright at daytime...so why don't lower the daytime brightness via enbpalette? I've sent methodunderg a readme picture how enb palette textures work a long time ago, it's included in the newbies pack. With basic skills in Photoshop or similiar editing software you should be able to lower the brightness curve for daytime. Or try out other enbpalettes until you find one which suits für daytime and combine the part of this enbpalette which is used for daytime with your default one.

Hey guys.. First of all, I have to say I'm on a Mac. Which means the graphic card sucks compared to new pc's..

Only thing I can't get to work is shadows.. Probably not gonna work, ever..

2x Object Draw Distance

 

Special thanks to Sacky for SA Limit Adjuster Alpha 8.0, which made this possible.

 

What it does:

This mod doubles the draw distance of most objects, including, but not limited to:

Trees

Lamposts

Traffic lights

Telephone poles

Signs

Fences

Obtainables

 

I have been unable to do very extensive testing as my GPU is dying and as a result really, really, really doesn't like this mod.

So I leave the extensive testing to you guys, let me know if you find glitches, flashing objects etc, and I'll try my best to fix em.

My computer is weak, but I know you guys can create some beautiful enb configs with this, perhaps even rivaling gtaIV with enb.
