Well if somebody edits an image it gets saved in the metadata which program was used, I cannot find any traces in the pictures, but I don't know if his hoster converts the images, e.g. gallery.ru deletes the photoshop traces but imagebam keeps them.

Or you put the edited image on fullscreen and use gyazo and it will never be detected.

There are many methods to remove metadat from images.

Well it is not only saved in metadata because metadata can't be accessed via hex editor. And I know that it can be removed
