Was a new version of ENB for SA released? It kinda looks like there is new effects.

There was a new version released; very minor update. Just allowed the user to save the BumpMap parameters in the .ini.

Does that FXAA you've posted even work in SA ? I'm not sure, but, it looks like there is no difference...  dontgetit.gif

 

It does work for me and it should work for all dx9 games wink.gif

 

(I'm also using it with GTA IV+ENB, looks great, still some jaggies left, but all in all it's a quite smooth picture now)

The FXAA package which was posted is the 3.9 fversion, if you use the FXAA-Injector by some dude(has an own d3d9.dll which you can load with proxy library) has the version 3.11 and has even better quality and if you choose this way you can use FXAA and the tone mapping shader zogether biggrin.gif

yes I think so, but i don't really know because it works for me and I have a Nividia GTX 570, but the ATI/AMD users have their MLAA.

 

@JF-Mir2 : FXAA is a post-processing anti-aliasing method, (FXAA= Fast Approximate Ant-Aliasing) which was developped by Timothy Lottes. The good is that you can put it in an ENBSeries effect.txt and the MRTRendering which isn't compatible with the ingame aa works fine with FXAA and FXAA has better performance. The injector is a

 

-d3d9.dll(can be loaded with enb by using the Proxxy Library)

-shader.fx

-a .fsh file

 

Before that you were only able to choose between FXAA or tone mapping shader(DKT70) because there isn't a effect.txt file yet where are both methods in, but with the injector you can use both, FXAA and Tone mapping effect.

 

The ingame AA can screw up some enb features like shadows or SSAO but the FXAA won't.

UPDATE - Added methodunderg's ENB Newbies Pack to the first post

@Marty McFly - Wooops blush.gif That's the one where I stupidly forgot to upload my enb settings. It's been updated now thanks. Also very good explanation about FXAA. To everyone else all my recent pictures have been taken with FXAA (the D3D9 Rearranged v.0.3 version). Do you want to post a screenshot of you're game so far so we can see what we can suggest?

Feel free to take other stuff out of the pack, and upload it individually to the other download links (timecycs, settings, effects etc)

I don't think this rule is needed. Also, the deadline is just waay to short... IMO it should be atleast 5 days, look at the IV s-shot comp. for example, 1 week for posting and 1 for voting. In the end, ~4.500 views, 25 participants and only 24 votes... you get my point I gues.
