Recommended Posts

Sooo, I'm thinking about buying a laptop soon. My budget is around 900-1000€.

What's the best for this money? Would be nice if it runs new games well, but mainly, I just need something good. smile.gif

Just to show that the 560M isn't that weak. icon14.gif

So, a quad core i7, 8GB ram, 750GB HDD, 560M, Blu ray Combo, and USB 3.0 for €950, what else do you want?! tounge2.gif

That's kind of impressive and all but how does it handle a real game? Minesweeper

Wait...15.6in display that does 1920x1080. You need 20/20 vision and 10yr old eyes to read anything.

Normally a 15.6in display is 1366x768, that being said this is what here's a bit of perspective

And I know about the res, but not that much really, maybe he can set it a little bit lower than 1080p, all options are open, no?

My sister has that very computer, it is quite good, but the graphics are a fair bit weaker than the 560, and she has issues with the mousepad.

Can you go to an actual electronics store for the laptop? It is often cheaper, and the laptop shown above may be in the store.

Dell used to have 15" notebooks at 1920x1200 so 1920x1080 is nothing.

Just wait until we see 13" and 15" with a resolution of 2560x1440

Dell still does, (I assume) if you look at Alienware or XPS models suited to high performance 3D.

Why does it seem there's more then a few Estonians here? haha

Asus used to get a bad rap, around here IIRC, due to a poor quality phase they were in?

The make good boards, but notebooks... so so and one thing I hate with their design are their mouse buttons!

It's stiff as hell!

One feature I like from their notebook is something call "IceCool". Don't know how it's done, but the palm rest is always cool to the touch even after long hours of use.

Wow, I was about buying the same asus but this version has a GTX 460M.

But Aus sell these notebooks with GTX 560M too?

Lucky they sell that notebook here.

Not to mention the GTX560M has 2GB VRAM!

Damn, I gotta love the notebooks a lot.

But, how is the cooling and fan?

Do they run hot when playing heavy games?

Sorry guys, but what the heck is a wire transfer? I never ordered international (shipping, passing customs, etc is a hassle to wait for) so I wouldn't exactly know

Wire transfer is simply another method for paying, by transferring an amount of money from your bank account to another one, which in this case, tigerdirect's bank account.
