Mister Pink
Did you mean 'Finale' not 'Finally?' I loved those shows when I was younger but never seen the finales. RUBBΣR░J♢HNNY (スオッ)

Otter
Quantum Leap. Gotta agree with this. Heartbreaking. The Shield was a rather tragic ending as well. And I must admit I teared up when the Seavers moved out.
Mister Pink
Quantum Leap. Thanks for reminding me to watch that series. Only watched random episodes here and there and saw an amazing one recently where the dude meets another leaper but she's evil and goes around f*cking everyone's lives up. The fate of Duquan "Dukie" Weems in The Wire is so sad. Spoilers.. Edited September 10, 2011 by ThePinkFloydSound RUBBΣR░J♢HNNY (スオッ)
Creed Bratton
f*ckin' LOST man. I actually cried. And I never cry at movies and TV shows. I watched that show for 6 years. I was one of the obsessed ones. I was able to hold it until that scene near the end with Locke and Ben outside the church

mrpain
My Name is Earl: I cryed because they canned the show To Be Continued..... Not! It's a pretty depressing way to end the show really. We needed a proper finale dammit! They're never gonna do another season again now that Jason Lee has his new role in Memphis Beats. I quite like him as a cop. The-King
Firefly, not quite the finale, but Joss Whedon's intended symbolism with Tracey's funeral at the end of The Message. Also the entirety of Objects in Space because every time I watch it I know it's the last episode I'll ever see and it breaks my heart. I really f*cking hate Fox. |PropagandaIncorporated:|: Steam:|: DeviantArt:|: Last.FM|

Scarface187
I gotta go with The Wire as well. It was definitely far from a happy ending despite some of the characters finding their happiness. Plus you know, it also sucked that the series ended period. Slamman
I vote for MIAMI VICE, the Michael Mann closing showed all the major events at the end, synopsis style, and I saw the last filming of M.A.S.H. on YouTube, the classic TV series, that must have been an emotional one
Mr White0161
I wouldn't call it "saddest" but it was sad for me and that was the Battlestar Galactica series finally. Along with Sopranos, it brought a tear to me eye seeing Silvio get shot the way he did. However there was no need for Tony to die. Phil most defiantly because he was a rat in most cases f*cking Tony over. Also sad seeing Bobby get whacked the way he did at the hobby shop. Mike Tequeli
I was about to say the first season finale of The Wire. But then I realized Wallace dies in the episode before that, and that has to be one of the saddest things I've ever seen on TV.
Fnorg
I know you meant Bodie, but "String! Look at me. Look at me! Where the f*ck is Wallace!?" that D'Angelo lets out late in S1 was heartbreaking too. Lots of heartbreaking moments on The Wire. Bodie's death was perfectly executed in how it went back to the chess scene in S1. Bodie, a pawn, stands there and shoots diagonally while Snoop and Chris attack diagonally like bishops and finally O-Dog steps out and kills Bodie like a knight, L-shaped attack and all. John The Grudge
Sopranos spoilers below. Tony doesn't die at the end of The Sopranos. The idea behind the ending is to give the viewer an idea of what Tony's life will be like from now on. Always looking over his shoulder wondering if somebody will be the one to kill him. The series' creator said himself that you don't see Tony die, so he doesn't die. It wasn't supposed to be a mysterious ending. The real tragedy in the series' final episodes was Bobby's death.
