Basejumper Posted September 9, 2011 Share Posted September 9, 2011 (edited) Hey, I've got a big Problem and i can't fix that. First of all, i made an Ostankino tower in 3D's max. All is cool . No big polys or verticies.... all perfect. Now i gonna explain how i export: -Applying the txd what i made, to the 3d's max model. -open DFF IO, Select the model, pick at Skip col and export the model -apply the Metal col surface (Material -> GTA Sa Col surface), open COL IO -Click cilision mesh and select my tower, set as name the same as the dff -> Export. -Now import those files with TXD Workshop into gta3.img -Place those models in MED and save the files. All files where found and are applied. Now i'm finished with exporting. When i'm going to test, i can stand infront of my tower and i can see it. But if i'm walking NEAR to my tower, my game's crashing. I thought it was the Limit of GTA Sa, so i tried SA Limiter. Either doesn't work. I never had something similar. if my game had to crash it always happened at loading screen. Try to export your model as a 3ds. file and then import it in colleditor and replace the old col. It could be your dff also as Kam's script deform meshs sometimes. So yep check the col first and if the crash is still there it's your dff for sure . BTW pictures doesn't work. It doesn't work neither for me if i'll click on the link. Kams script changes my DFF, that's what i know. Because it's more smoth if i'm importing the dff again in 3D's max. I'll try to export my tower once without col. I'll see if it will work ^^. One more thing, do u know something about the new SA:MP Version? Is it possible to set my custom modeled tower into a server without my clients have to download it?
