Algonquin Assassin Posted September 19, 2011 Share Posted September 19, 2011 I support no game company because after all its all about money in fact they are probley lighting a cigar with a hundred dollar bill right now so it is you who is ignorant and need to learn about the real world you called that guy a greedy douche just because he wants another iteration of the game series that got him interested in Rockstar and has no interest in any of their other game franchises... My opinion on the other games is they are good but they are no GTA and I want you to remember Rockstar might like making games but in the end it is all bussiness they dont even take fan suggestions because they know they dont need to and they dont care what you think or what you have to say. Sure they will throw you the occasional bone every once in awhile to keep things sweet like free dlc but honestly as long as they make it they know your gonna buy it no matter what. What about the GTA IV Episodes they took 50 million dollars fast enough even though they knew it would piss off fans because they dont care they have your money and they are gonna go jump in it in their pool filled with dollar bills. When a game company cares what the fans have to say they have a community manager and a forum and interact with the hardcore fans there but no Rockstar have to have the fans set up stuff for other fans because they couldn't care less. Now I know it is really hard to think about this with that fanboy mindset of yours but atleast try.... Honestly I'm glad they don't take fan suggestions. We would end up with a SA clone every year with moronic features that would have the same appeal as a paper bag. Ease off with the "fanboy" sh*t too. It's getting really annoying people coming in here and calling others fanboys, because they're not slashing their wrists over not having any GTA V information. It truly amazes me how anyone can get pissed of at a game developer. Ontopic: I'm not excited because it hasn't even been annunced yet. Plus, Rockstar won't use the same logo twice. Plus they wouldn't advertise the game without age rating and release date. I really wish that r* would have made the next gta than the other games they made since 2008, if they hadn`t we would have probably had a new gta this year. Wolfmight Posted September 19, 2011 Share Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) Yeah I'm definitely still excited about GTA:V and strongly feel Rockstar would be insane to give up so soon on such a fantastic franchise. I don't know what the hell their strategy is in waiting so long to announce it though, maybe they want to build up anticipation. Know what's interesting is they haven't confirmed it's NOT in production either (eventually they will have to). They have so many other projects going on that their resources set on the GTA:V have probably been progressingly slowly. Once more are allocated to the V, things should take off. So far I've definately been hearing California San Andreas for the next gta. IF ANYTHING, they might be working on a San Andreas Stories for PSP and possibly PS3/PS2?. Even though the graphics would be dated (wouldn't give a @#$%*), it'd follow the pattern so far with the previous 2 "stories" titles. However, I think a new GTA in California could be very possible too. But then again, I think an entirely new location would be nicer. V fits so well into the word Vice that it's impossible Rockstar hasn't noticed that detail either. How could I be when I know nothing about what's going to be in the game? How am I supposed to be excited when I don't even know the real damn title?
