Are still excited on GTAV?

Saints row the third has a 3 year development cycle also. We cant expect a new Gta every 2 years or so these days. And frankly i would not want that.

MASSIVE FAIL AND WRONG!!! It only took a year for GTA: VC to released after GTA III and it took only two years to released GTA: SA after VC. We have waited for almost four frigging years and still no GTA after IV!! R* is getting lazy and being total dicks for not releasing GTA V. They got the frigging engine already so it should only take them a year to producing GTA V (like with VC) not four years!! That's why the Housers can shove that game up their ass for all I care!!

Oh grow up. I can't believe someone in their mid 30s actually carries on like a child, because they haven't got their GTA game yet.

 

I don't see how R* are being lazy either. They've been working on some amazing games over the last few years. There's more to R* than the GTA series. Maybe you don't care, but fans of R* do.

 

Perhaps they're leaving GTA until last, because they want to give it the justice it deserves? I don't want some annually released GTA game that's going to be full of bugs and lack the polish R* titles are known for. Actually I reckon if R* did release GTA games annually people like you would still find something to whine about.

 

It took 8 years for Mafia II to be released and despite what some people say I think it's an amazing game and was well worth the wait. I do understand how some people are getting anxious, but I don't think calling R* childish names is going to make them announce the game any faster.

Are you perhaps the biggest moron on the planet? Though RDR was buggy It gave me one of the best gaming experience's I've ever had and It's the first game since Zelda that I will actually feel nostalgia for.

 

 

 

So what if there were bugs, they weren't game breakers, they actually made the game more entertaining and y'know how long RDR spent in development FIVE YEARS, with no added content before that San Diego had to work on.

 

 

So R* north had It's team working with the other branches of R* maybe you didn't see R* North's name on the credits of RDR. Oh and before you mention LA Noire, that was made by Team Bondi and not R* they simply published the game.

If Rockstar are taking their own sweet time then let them be. It would give them more time to polish everything before announcing anything. Don't rushed them, look at what happened at some games that got rushed like Dragon Age 2.

Oh god, this. No matter the game, there's just something magical about the pre-release hype, speculation, and discussion that the actual game rarely lives up to. The hype train can last for several months or even a year, whereas the game itself will be done and over with a few weeks at most after coming out.

And i do hope that they take their time but no longer than it has already taken, also i think they have finished with GTA V development but what they are doing is letting their rivals crush them without GTA V and i hope to make this up is shock us with amazement and not a dissapointment.

I really hoped the Max Payne 3 trailer would create some spark for GTA V maybe with typical RAGE engine features like realistic physics and NPC intelligence and then see some slight improvements or something. But unfortunately it didn't happen Hell, Max Payne still has a bald head and beard and it's too colorful and exotic for my taste for a gritty film noir game

 

Never thought in a million years that somewhere in time I would be MUCH more excited about a Saints Row and True Crime (or whatever the new franchise name will be called) game then a GTA one. It is Rockstar Games own fault of giving us the hardcore fans and paying customers no information whatsoever. I also think 4 years is ridiculous. I am not counting the EFLC with TLAD and TBOGT because they were also in Liberty City. So there was no need for development when it concerned the physics and visuals besides some new character models and vehicles. It was peanuts compared to the new RAGE engine with GTA IV after SA FFS. Anyway, I am sick and tired of having no single piece of official information at all at this moment

 

 

 

There's more then GTA and Rockstar Games of course. But the way things are going it's really disappointing. Rockstar Games could have been HUGE and independent from Take Two Interactive like Activision if they only released a GTA game every year or two years max I don't like COD or FIFA that much myself but I can understand why people buy a new one each year. I would have bought every GTA at launch since GTA IV with the exact same RAGE engine but new city or locations and story and would have enjoyed the hell out of it

 

Anyway, Saints Row : The Third, Battlefield 3, Batman Arkham City, Mass Effect 3, The Game Formerly Known As True Crime : Hong Kong, Hitman V, Bioshock Infinite and such will have to do until October 2012 when GTA V will finally come out...hopefully

I'm sorry. I don't have magical superpowers that can read through a fake birthdate. I'm only human after all and assumed that was your real age. So with that in mind you must be a lot younger than your "fake" birth date implies? A teenager I'm assuming with your lack of maturity by throwing adolescent insults around like "R* sucks balls"?

 

I'm not a R* fanboy either. I do want some info too, but I wont stoop to a immature level by insulting a game developer that in reality has done me no harm. If you let a game developer get to you like this I'd hate to see how you would handle any situation in person that actually matters.

 

Also we'll see how much you "don't care". If you were sincere you would just shut the f*** up and get about your daily business. Not come into this thread looking for someone's shoulder to cry on, because the big, bad R* hasn't given you your game yet.

 

EDIT: Looking at some of your earlier posts (some as recent as a couple of weeks ago) for someone who preaches that they don't give a flying sh*t about GTA V you sure have contributed to some of the threads in this forum. Actually you're wrong again. The reason I post here because there are nothing interesting in other sub-forums (except maybe a few topics in Gaming Chat) and I just want to laugh at some people's blind faith here thinking there will a GTA next year. If it is coming next year or 2013, I will not be buying it. I am disappointed how R* ruined GTA by adding some really unneccessary features and took away the fun features in IV that epitomises GTA. Instead they give it away to the SR series, which a lot of people turning to now instead of GTA.

 

So now I am more excited about SR3 and dissed those who think GTA V will be better than SR3. If R* continue the IV format with GTA V, I think not.

I understand that some people are upset, but is it rational to say "R* sucks balls", "they can go to hell", "they're being lazy" etc? As I said what will all this achieve? I realize you didn't say these things. I'm speaking generally.

 

Don't you think I want some acknowledgement as well? Of course I do. I'm by my physical nature just a very patient person and don't see any point in being angry towards a bunch of people (R*) who haven't done me any real harm.

 

I'm sorry, but some people are making themselves look really ridiculous acting as if they don't get something they'll neck themselves, or the world will come to an end tomorrow.
