Off topic, but i just bought mafia 2 (after playing the first one Years ago) and that game is so underrated, its one hell of a polished game and fun! like Gta IV. Seems this is not good enough. People want unpolished over the top games. (Saints row) Ok seriously, why does everyone around here feel the need to take pointless pot shots at saints row games? Yes, we get it. You like polish, you like realism, and you're a GTA loyalist. Congratulations. What do you want, a f*cking medal? Bashing saints row does not make you look smart, it makes you look biased and close minded. I'm not stupid for liking saints row games. They could at least give us an acknowledgement of some type. I've been wondering when the next GTA would come out for years now because GTAIV wore thin pretty fast as we all know. I 100% agree with you, and as crazy as this sounds, I feel gta 4 partly deadened my overall interest in videogames.(as well as GOW3 and maybe some others, as I see these games as massive let downs.) Im going to buy it no matter what, but some other people dont play around, and may even boycott. It would be cool if it was like the Battlefield boycott, and R* actualy listened to us. Personally I am excited for a new game, but not completely because I don't know anything about it, such as location. There is some frustration, but deep down we know that information will be out once it's ready, and we'll all be blown away. liltuner Posted September 10, 2011 Share Posted September 10, 2011 To be honest.. I think GTA is close to death... It doesn't have the "old" feeling.. No more San Andreas/Vice city-like feeling.. GTA IV turned me down.. Really turned me down.. No capabilities on tuning, sidemissions, drivingschools, or whatever! As a simple example: It's not a sidemission, but a plain simple example; the Towtruck.. You can have fun with it, or the peterliner which you can attach a trailer to it.. Those are small things, but they were fun! R*, If you read this.. Discuss this at the office.. It brings a funfactor into the game.. that makes a videogame alive and kicking! Batman Arkham City, Dead Rising 2 Off The Record and most importantly, Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect 2 was voted the best modern game ever! GTA IV got 9th. Why am I saying this? Mate I like you, but you really need to calm down. It's like most of the realism threads when you come in all guns blazing and start reigning down a fire of anger. Darrel's post was far from being biased when he even acknowledges another game. Some people simply don't love the Saints Row games as much as others do. I am looking forward to it very much, when a release date is announced i may allow myself some excitement if i see it as a useful emotion to have at the time.
