Rockstar20124
@Rockstar20124, Too bad it won't be called "True Crime: Hong Kong". Haha, it's indeed a shame Square Enix didn't buy the franchise name that's why it's going to be called... Real Offence : Hong Kong
silentsharklol
I was never excited for GTA V in the first place. Most people who are mad about no info on the game are idiots for getting all hyped up for a game that was never even announced. PS: MP3 RELEASE DATE + TC:HK! f*ck YEAH! Slamman
Am I still excited about the next GTA? Why would we even be addicted to this forum, besides the obvious?? haha?? Addendum, I mentioned MAGAZINES in the Big "G" thread, but it's worth bringing to your attention... Do you keep an eye for info on news-stands?? Dabai Namona
Not that all excited because AFAIK GTA is dead and buried. That's why R* has not announced even a tiny bit of information about GTA V. They are more concentrated on MP3, RDR and more of these crappy games. I am more excited about SR3, FC3 and Resistance 3 than GTA. RIP GTA V.

Slamman
...I have some fervent hope that GTA will appear for PSVita as well as PS3 and XB360, but that Red Dead could very well become it's own GTA like franchise if they can work the Western motif into something as new as GTA can within it's time frames. I'd betcha money they could be brainstorming on this

Something with Justice would be great. Or how about....Agent

I am more excited about SR3, FC3 and Resistance 3 than GTA. RIP GTA V. Eh RDR came out over a year ago, so how could they still be concentrating on it? I think it needs to be said, but some people really have no f**king clue. R* North (The developers and publishers of GTA) only have ONE game coming out in the near future and that's Agent. MP3 is being developed and published by a different R* studio altogther. Just because it hasn't been announced doesn't mean the series is dead. Some of you are just so impatient that you come up with these out landish theories in your head. Anyway I'm still looking forward to it. I just don't think about it a great deal. It took well over half a decade for Mafia II and LA Noire to come out yet they're two of the best games I've ever owned. Some times a long wait pays off in the end. GTAWithStyle
GTA is the only game franchise that matters to me so I'll never lose interest no matter how long those useless R* bastards take to announce anything
Mister Pink
Yeah, re-reading the topic it's obvious none of us will not ever not- be-excited or lose interest. We keep coming back to this forum. My hopes of a near approaching announcement has diminished greatly and I think a lot of us feel the same. @miami: It's kind of ironic that in your last bit of your post you say you don't think of it much but you mainly post in the V forum. Slamman
The viewership or patronage has dropped off, in part because of school, I'm sure! hahaha Eh RDR came out over a year ago, so how could they still be concentrating on it? Not Rockstar North making every R* game, but Toronto, Lincoln, and San Diego. North includes Edinbergh as well as NYC offices where the sound stage is for voice recording, and what else, not entirely sure? haha Edited September 9, 2011 by Slamman
kmlwin.1996
I am still exciting about the GTA V. I come back to the forum every day and I first browse for GTA V forum. I am also waitin' for release day.
blow-job
I'm moderately interested but am way past serious excitement now; it's taken too long to hear any real news. Also I am in the camp that thought GTA IV and its DLC were generally less interesting than the III-era games. Saying that, I'll probably be more excited when the location officially is revealed. Zee
I dont really care about gta anymore, for nostalgia ill play the gta3 games every once and a while but as far as Im concerned gta as a series is finished.
General Goose
I'll be honest; no. I've been focused on other things, both gaming-related and otherwise, and I haven't played a non-RDR R* game in months, in part due to the PC copy of GTA IV I bought on Steam cheap having start-up problems I can't be bothered to solve. With the lack of news on top, nah, I don't really have much hype or excitement.

CookPassBabtridge
Always interested, but I cant say excited after the MP3 announcement. D- Ice
Not any more, there are better things to be interested about - posting here and deluding yourself that it'll make the slightest bit of difference to it's scheduled release plan is completely futile. I do still occasionally drop here to see if there is any new info, but not any more. I honestly give up, when the release info about it, I am sure I'll know from other media. I am now more excited about Max Payne 3, though I'm also not following it up either. I'm just waiting for its release so I can see the reviews and decide about buying it. Marlowe.
Oh yeah, yes I am very excited. Like a teenager on a road trip with their parents to Disney Land...while discussing Wittgenstein and swapping tales of sexual endeavors. So...you know, excited, intrigued, anxious and overall irritatable. But when the ride ends I'll ultimately be happy. I may even crack a smile. GTA has always been fantastic. It is their MAIN franchise. GTA IV has sold over 20 million copies now right? Yeah, R* would probably turn their back on that kind of success. smh. Darrel
Exactly guys. We have had one game this gen, one! The hype is going to be out of control. Off topic, but i just bought mafia 2 (after playing the first one Years ago) and that game is so underrated, its one hell of a polished game and fun! like Gta IV. Seems this is not good enough. People want unpolished over the top games. (Saints row)

Agreed x1000. I know it doesn't have much to do with the thread, but Mafia II is a fantastic game that gets a lot of un-deserved criticism IMO. It along with GTA IV and LA Noire is one of my favourite games. What do all 3 have in common? They all took a few years to make. They are 3 of the best games as far as quality goes I have ever played and GTA V will be no exception.
SirPsychoSexy
My hype died about a year ago, when it comes out I'm sure I'll buy it and like it. But I don't know if I'll go crazy.
