All I know are the names of maybe two voice actors, if they didn't put V in their resumes by accident. However, this is rockstar we're talking about, so I'm sure they will blow our minds. Over the top and normal guy activites, a serious and yet still engaging storyline, the best physics and graphics yet, and a cool protagonist. If it does come out, it's good...but i'm guessing GTA is allready quite old and pretty much everything has been seen allready. With GTA IV they announced it far before the release, and builded up a strong hype, now it's just dead around GTA. Rockstar games should start getting the hype going and feeding us with small things that keeps us busy untill the release (thinks like small trailers were we can all look for the smallest details,...). I hate when a game gets delayed and I think that is why R* is waiting to say anything. R* equals quality, and there games are worth waiting for. I'd never been here before, but after a couple of google-searches, I knew that "If there's somewhere I will find any information about GTA V, it will be at gtaforums". However, I am not slicing my wrists, so to speak, over the lack of news/announcement regarding GTA V, but when the news comes, such as a trailer or official release date, then I will be thoroughly excited like I was for GTA IV. I am completely content with that article in which Sam Houser said something along the lines of "we'll think of the location first, then the story", I faintly remember. But as for now, big time games are coming out that I really cannot wait to buy, like Saint's Row 3, Uncharted 3, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and Assassin's Creed Revelations. When the information is eventually released to us, I expect to be even more excited than I previously would have been if the information was released over a year ago. Because this means the next GTA for 360, PS3 and eventually PC will be released at least a year from now Fall 2012 it is, unless Agent ruins it for the GTA franchise...which would mean a 2013 release Well, at least I have GTA : Chicago sort of in Saints Row The Third this year With the hover bike from the movie The Island And in 2012 we at least have The Game Formerly Known As True Crime Hong Kong Because Square Enix bought the rights from Activision !!! What a bunch of sh*t. Haha, me too I was boycotting Activision and advising people to do the same untill they released True Crime : Hong Kong. But at least they sold the rights to Square Enix now. Kudos for Activision for not destroying TC:HK entirely I guess. So if people really want to buy COD: MW3 go ahead. But I still advise people Battlefield 3 when it comes to shooters later this year Not just for the FANTASTIC visuals, but also the diversity because of the many vehicles you can control including the jetplanes (GTA V had better have planes back including the Hydra from SA ) And the destruction of buildings with the improved Frostbite 2.0 engine Anyway, maybe it's a good thing we know that GTA V will take at least a year to be in stores. So, Square Enix can release it's GTA : Hong Kong early 2012. The sandbox game genre with on foot and vehicles controls has been dead for a long time.
