Also the laser sight they used in Terminator had to have a much bigger power supply than the ones nowadays.

 

 

That's the same Hardballer Longslide that was used in Terminator. The cables ran from the .45 into Arnold's M65 where the battery was hidden. He had a switch in his left hand which he used to activate the laser.

 

 

Ontopic, Left 4 Dead 2 had laser sights, which improved accuracy a bit.

I guess something similar to this image posted would be cool as an unlock in GTA/Saints Row, perhaps to increase accuracy seeing as we wouldnt have to worry about giving away positions, it just doesnt seem practical in first person shooters, unless its to direct fire support, arty or laze targets for vehicle crews.
