You get a 3 star level upon re-entering the prison, and apparently they vanish after going too far. Can anyone look into this for me? I checked on both EfLC and DLC versions, but if these were rendered unobtainable via an update (which is irreversible, since you need to be connected to XBL to access the DLC episodes, even beyond the usual DLC restrictions), I need to modify my guide accordingly. I'd just like extra input on these. Just check into the wanted level upon entering the prison after leaving, and whether the Laundromat and Prison Bus near the entrance vanish if you go too far (which would be necessary to get a decent vehicle, unless you can cheat one up). Lancet Posted September 8, 2011 Author Share Posted September 8, 2011 I mean at the end of Get Lost, when you leave the prison and return to the Lost clubhouse. Time was, you could get a vehicle off the road, drive back into the prison, and push the Prison Bus (or Laundromat) to the parking spot at Brian's House (very carefully and slowly). You didn't get a wanted level again after re-entering the prison to push the Bus out. However, now it seems that not only is your 3-star wanted level added again once you re-enter the prison, but the bus and Laundromat vanish if you go too far away, making them essentially impossible to get without cheats. The DLC versions of TLAD and TBoGT require an internet connection to access (even if you're on the same console and profile that bought them). The EfLC version doesn't. This is a problem because it means you can't empty your cache to delete the update, since that will force you offline. I just tried replaying Get Lost, - after exiting the prison and reentering I got 3*'s and the bus and the van was gone. Although 3 stars is pretty steep, especially since you have AI allies with you who, if they die, fail the mission (and result in a cutscene that teleports you to the Lost clubhouse). However if you leave Johnny's bike inside the prison, the mission won't progress and apparently the vehicles won't disappear either. So go out on foot and find a vehicle, - the streets are pretty deserted but I managed to find a Faction. The plan is to push the bus out in the street before progressing with the mission. But now I got the damn thing stuck in the broken gate If I get it out of there then I'll try to get the cops to drive it, - I'm definitely not pushing that thing all the way to a parking spot Update: Hmm, there's a limit to how far you can go from Terry and Clay before you fail. I'm back to square 1. Update #2: Picked the laundry van (much easier to push out) this time, and it is out in the street with no wanted level. Update #3: Managed to get the attention of the police, but they picked a fight with the Lost and showed no interest in chasing Johnny. Looks like it needs to be pushed all the way. Get out of prison without Hexer, either call Firetruck or find a Heavy (bobcat ain't bad, easy with laundromat, not Prison Bus) vehicle parked somewhere close. Then, ocne you get the Laundromat/Prison Bus out, get in the Hexer, and get out with it, and you have it. Wow... It worked well for me, It always showed up, that's weird! Edit: WAIT! I even have BETTER IDEA! Since I noticed you can leave the Bike During the first part of the mission, Call 911 BEFORE starting it!!! And then once you get it leave it nearby and start the mission. Get out of the bike as soon as you start the mission! Then just drive firetruck to the end. Save it nearby the prison, and if you gte lucky, the Truck might save. Now, once you get near the Exit Get out of hexer, grab the Firetruck, push the Laundromat and Prison bus first. Push the OUT OF THE PRISON. Then get on the bike and get out of prison. And then just do the rest of work! (Of course; Use cannon to push the Hexer too (Try not to do that much, you will alert the police!!!).
