Their histories go way back. L.C. times were tough as always. Three prestigious men, a doctor, a talent agent and a corrupt officer of law, change the face of L.C. forever. Nick, Tomas, and Grant, the three core founders began the Legacy of the Desperados. Unlike most of the gangs and mobs around Liberty City, this wasnt started back 50s years ago in Italy. This was started right here not too long ago. And yet, the Desperados legacy is already known across L.C. Hide outs, jobs/ careers and housing of our members are kept private, only way to find out is to find out yourself in L.C. Not only is being part of this gang a chance to prove yourself in a city full of rats and backstabbers, but it will earn you respect amongst men whos daily lives are filled with constant action, constant deceit, constant threat but also with a lot to gain. Loyalty is key. If at any one point a thought crosses your mind about betraying us or killing a member, you might as well shoot yourself in the head and save us the trouble. A gang member we can give our full trust to is an essential. We dont care if your'e the best assassin this side of Algonquin, if we suspect something is up we'll make sure to get back to you. You don't want us to "Get back to you". A little History: Starting a gang with three people wasn't the easiest thing to do. Originally members of The Legacy worked for a Mr. Jimmy Pegorino. Pegorino would give us simple jobs until we proved we could handle more. Eventually it went from stealing cars to drug deals to full out bank robberies. As our names were written across the walls of every police station, they were also written across checks. With bigger jobs comes bigger threat levels, with bigger threat levels came a hefty paycheck. We continued our flawless missions and completed tasks without shedding any civilian blood and making a clean getaway. The Benjamins were stacking high, we were getting good. Too good. Pegorino felt we had too much power and paranoia set in. We caught wind of betrayal in the family, it was then we decided to make our own plan and after a failed assassination attempt on Jimmy Pegorino himself, left the family and never looked back. For months following we had to deal with ongoing attacks from Pegorinos men. One incident in particular changed us forever. We were scrambling to be organized and were trying to be an independant organized crime force. One of our contacts had heard of a major deal going on at the old mansion in the north of Alderney. We decided that we could make a killing if we screwed both sides over and stole the goods. We knew one side of the deal would be the Ancelotti Family but didn't know who the other side was. We watched through the scope of a sniper random men picking up some duffle bags and leaving behind a car. With sniper cover we checked around and the only thing left behind by the men was a black Sultan RS. However it was'nt the exotic car that was the product. It was what was in it. We were estatic that we were about to drive away with 1.2 million dollars worth of product. As we were driving away gang leader and founder Grant noticed a strange sound coming from under the car. We had heard this sound before and immediately jumped out of car. Two seconds later the bomb on the bottom blew up the Sultan and all the fake product in it. We got tricked and knew who did it. Pegorino's men. From that day forward we were much more careful about our deals, legitimate ones and deals we screwover. We were also careful about who our contacts were. After time passed we were growing in numbers and therefore growing in power, The Legacy was making a name for itself. As we recruited more members our gang branched out to many different areas. We recruited a drug dealer, a car dealership owner, a docter, a restaurant owner and a mechanic. All would contribute to helping The Legacy grow into what it is today. Everyone in our gang has their specific way of helping. All are loyal and would do anything to ensure a fellow member's safety. Always looking for battles against other gangs, but also looking for help and alliances. You may not simply leave an advertisement or a recruitment topic, directing people to your gang's forums, website, or any external means of communication. Harsh? Maybe. We want gangs to grow on these boards, and mingle with other gangs and the community. We do not want to encourage isolated gangs that operate externally. Some gangs like to have fancy layouts with graphics, rosters, background information etc. This is not a requirement! However, we request you to post some essential details - such as the platforms you play on, gang rules and such. Don't post if you don't have something of any worth to contribute in a positive and helpful manner For the topic starter, you need to give some form of application that allows members to join your gang. In addition to that the only members you are allowed within your ranks are those that are members with accounts on this forum, of whom need to contribute to this topic regularly; as opposed to you having a list of friends only you know. I told him where to go for GFX requests. and also how to told him to ask how to paste IMG's in his topic. Are you guys actually helping anyone with your sarcastic little comments? Its no wonder gangs start up and shut down straight away because of people like you, putting gang leaders down. I have contributed, with help, to numerous topics, such as the Gambetti's thread, aswell has Brotherhood of Bullets, with finding them some art for the OP...
