treocsx15
First I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. I was unable to find a more appropriate forum. I need help with the whole scripthook thing. I tried following the guide seen here http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=390582 but it's confusing because the poster mentions 2 scripthooks. It also mentions the C++ scripthook must be in the main gta iv directory or else the .net scripthook won't find it. Here's the thing. Both the C++ scripthook and .net scripthook file names are exactly the same, scripthook.dll. So which one do I need? Now for my actual problem. I can get my car mod to work just fine, but I have 2 traffic fixes that won't seem to load and I'm thinking it must be the scripthook issue. The traffic fixes are trafficbugfix.asi and traffic control system. I can't get either of them to work. It seems like the scripthook won't load the file. I look in the scripthook log and there's nothing there about loading a file. Just loading GTA IV. Whenever I try with the yaasil.dll it crashes before it even loads. I'm running Win 7 Ultimate x64 completely up to date. I'm on GTA IV retail with patch 1.07. I have tried with xliveless and yaasil. Tried the C++ scripthook.dll with the .net scripthook.asi installed. I'm also running Icenhancer 1.25. I have seen videos of the traffic fixes working so it must be something I'm doing wrong. I'm at my wits end on this one. If anyone can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Edited September 7, 2011 by treocsx15
NaidRaida
Does other scripts work well? I got also trouble with scripts at the beginning until I ensure that this is installed: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/de-de/d...23-37bf0912db84 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/de-de/d...9f-b21f31ab88b7 Generally: Make sure you installed everything correctly, especially which script loader. Specific mods/scripts could need different scripthook versions. It´s a bit complicated with this script stuff. Always refer to the mods readme for info, do not install just the newest stuff.
