Swarz
Good topic. Did anyone catch 'Alex: A life fast forward' a few weeks ago on BBC Three (or iPlayer)? Sadly it's now been removed from iPlayer, but it's an absolutely heart-wrenching documentary about a guy who gets terminal cancer. It follows his decline, his relationships, his marriage and his death (about a week after his wedding). I never cry at TV... I was in tears. --- AMF --- -= A joke is a very serious thing - Winston Churchill =-
trip
My regular doctor is a lady. The first time I went to her for a basic physical she said "I should probably check your testicles". These days, she calls in another doctor for my prostate exam - he too does my testicle check now. I have a friend(although I haven't seen him in a few years) who survived testicular cancer. At least it is one of those survivable ones when detected early on. Rhoda
That website's great, I'm going to order some rubber bracelets and make a small donation. And Swarz, no, I missed that, was it testicular cancer he had? How old was he?

And Swarz, no, I missed that, was it testicular cancer he had? How old was he? I think he was late teens or early 20s... it was bone cancer he had I think. There's a facebook page for it, and there's talk of it being aired on BBC1/2 at some point in the future so hopefully it'll be available again. As far as people-orientated documentaries go, I don't think I've seen much better in recent years. --- AMF --- -= A joke is a very serious thing - Winston Churchill =-
nightwalker83
Yeah, I have been thinking about this only because I've been having problems down there for a month or so now. I too know what it feels like to have a family member affected by/die from cancer. Go see a doctor. You never know, it could actually go be something serious. I'd go get that checked out, definitely. I have! Although, not because of my testicles but something I seem to have picked up in hospital that been annoying the hell out of my for the past month or two. Rhoda
If you feel anything, go. Doctors have seen worse things than a young man's ball bag. That's their job. I'm not happy that Feel My Balls don't ship to the UK. I wanted a bracelet, damn it.

Worst of all, its my mates mum lmao They practice confidentiality, it shouldn't be a problem. I'd rather have a woman do it. As previously mentioned, they have a softer touch and won't leave your balls feeling like they've been caught in a set of bicycle spokes afterwards. Might be wrong though, still glad you liked them.
Kirsty
A good topic that I hope encourages a lot of members here to become more aware of their bodies You really must check yourselves out, or at least go to a doctor to do it for you. Ignoring any concerns you have is the worst option you can take, even if you feel it's nothing. Though I don't have testicles, I'll add that I'm particularly self-aware as my mum had cancer when she was a teenager, even though it wasn't the form you could check for. geomy
We had a bit of a scare a while back at ZHQ, leave it to Julio to encourage us to play with our balls. In seriousness, I feel like I need a complete physical. Haven't turned my head and coughed since Junior High, and the subsequent years haven't been all that forgiving. I'm not the most unhealthy person I know, but I don't know that many people.

Rhoda
Yeah, I hope she's clear. Thanks for the US Amazon link Blitz, I'll give it a go ordering from there.
cidamelo
In a brazilian soap opera called Insensato Coração, a character called André Gurgel (an womanizer), has found he has a testicular cancer, he discovered when a doctor he slept with said she touched his "balls" and found something weird!! But he didn't die.

Is there anywhere else to get them?
Kalvin
I couldnt find the original topic, and i wanted to ask this question (merge, if you like) But can young people (say, around 4, or more) get testicular cancer? or can they only get it when older? because i get pains there, not very often, but like every 5 hours, and it carrys on for like 30 mins, then stops, and so on. It only started today, so i was just wondering + How quickly can the cancer react? SmC12
I wouldn't advise getting health advice on a GTA forum.. go see a doctor. If it only happened today then its probably just an injury. Did you piss somebody off and they kicked you in that area??
Kalvin
Lol, no. Anyway, i'm a bit "self-consious" about me body, i'm mostly in the house everyday. Shine o' Vice | Vice City BETA Edition | Grand Theft Auto 3D
SmC12
Are you really only 11? Cause I don't think it's normal to have that. Anyways there is already a topic about this.. somewhere. Use search.
.2D
Yeah, that's probably not normal, but hey, I'm no doctor. Google around for a bit, just to check, if you're still unsure, see a doctor. Better safe than sorry.
Rhoda
Merged for convenience. Any doubts and you should get yourself to a doctor.
