If you look at the R and the star, they are mis-positioned and pushed to the left a little bit. The R also looks like a thinner font than the trademarked logo's R. Take a look and compare. Van's Original Now this could just be from the angle at which the photo was taken, but I don't think being in the wrong angle could make the R and the star look so off like it is in that photo. OT: It is obviously a fan. For starters, it's an old van and the logo looks sh*t It might just be a Rockstar worker, meaning that it is their own van, that they take home, have sex in, eat hamburgers in etc... it might be the space stripper with three tits from total recall... I don't think it's an official R* van. Yep, thats what i think as well. But if it was something i would put it down to one of the below: its a delivery van? For a games store maybe? What's not to say the person who took the photograph hasn't just stuck them on himself. Rockstar do not have delivery vans as such, they'll use the standard freight networks nor do they have liveried vehicles. Apart from the odd van such as the RDR van that was at E3. A lot of you will most probably be right. Why such a run-down vehicle? Definitely isn't Rockstar. They wouldn't expose themselves to the public like that! But, maybe it's mind-games... They may have picked a completely stupid vehicle, and stuck their logo on the side to make it look extremely ridiculous, so nobody would even think of it as being Rockstar, who knows. GR7 Posted September 6, 2011 Share Posted September 6, 2011 The stripe that leads to the rockstar logo makes it look alot more genuine and the van looks in no was "beat down" its just a mix of a low quality picture and a bit of dirt. this has happened before when some guy found a rockstar van in L.A and the next game they released after that was L.A.N. It's probably not for GTA if it is genuine anyway, its probably for Max Payne since it seems to be set in several areas at several different times. But R* does use a van to advertise like I said in my last post. Most of the time people can just buy R* logo stickers online.
