Ancient.eu Posted September 5, 2011 Share Posted September 5, 2011 I played all previous GTAs but did not play GTA 4 at all. I plan to play it fully in the near future. And I want some opinions from you about on which platform should I play it, PC, Xbox, PS, or PC with a console controller. Considering that money is not an issue, what would be the best option, from your experience. I don't want to start a debate, I just want opinions from your experiences, especially from people that played on more than one platform. I am looking forward to your answers. I've played the PS3 and PC version, and I couldn't go back to PS3 after trying it on PC. Graphics are of course better, but the MP is where it's all at. 32 players instead of 16. From what I have read, the console controllers are more fun, especially when driving, than the keyboard. Did you enjoy playing more with the PS3 controller or the mouse and keyboard ? I am more interested in the single player, probably won't play much multiplayer. Since the strong thing about GTA is the single player, I care more about that. Columbo Posted September 5, 2011 Share Posted September 5, 2011 I have a controller for my PC, although I rarely use it since it's a low budget one I got years ago. Mouse and keyboard are ok, but a lot of people seem to think that playing with an XBOX 360 controller is the way to go. I guess it's all down to what you like personally, and what you plan to do the most when playing the game. Maybe use a controller when playing single player, since it really is, as you say, a lot funnier to drive with a controller than with the keyboard. When you go into multiplayer you can perhaps switch to keyboard, since aiming with a mouse is easier (and more rewarding). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Car mods, graphic mods, 32 player multiplayer, better graphics, etc. I prefer a controller with this game most of the time, but mouse+keyboard is still quite enjoyable. Algonquin Assassin Posted September 6, 2011 Share Posted September 6, 2011 I've never played it on PC, but I've owned both the 360 and PS3 versions.
