That despite popular belief, Roman almost never calls me to do anything, and yet I hear people complaining that he alwaysngoes bowling. I actually think it's a myth now cuz I beat gta 4 on my uncles xbox when it first came out, then a year later on my dads ps3, and then twice on my xbox in 09 and 10, And he only called me for the story, and like only2-4 times for the "titty" bar(variables, I didn't chose the deal story line cuz I always wanted a free cab and I didn't have the phone off button on) and the same for other friends. Is it a glitch, or are SR fans(who hate gta) just bitching bout nothing

Roman, like any other friend, will call to arrange activities. Maybe if you hung out with him more, the probability of him arranging a game of bowling will be likely. Every time I receive a call to go bowling, nine out of ten times it is Roman. That is all we do: bowl and sometimes drink.

I find Roman calls the most with Brucie in second. While we're on the subject I really hate how people exaggerate it.

 

I've also found the more times you call up a friend/girlfriend the less likely they'll call you. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've owned GTA IV on PS3 and now 360 and I find the friends/girlfriends to be quite random. (In real time) some may call frequently while other times you may only get 1-2 calls in an hour.

I've only been called by Roman 6 times and none of those calls where about asking If I wanted to go bowling. It's a gross exaggeration and It annoys me that people feel the need to do It.

 

 

So no don't worry If Roman decides not to call you, as a matter of fact I think he's forgotten my number.

It depends on how often you hang out with your friends...and your friends have certain times. They will NEVER call you to hang out with them during a period of time when they're sleeping...but Roman...he NEVER SLEEPS!

 

You can call Roman any time of the day and vice versa.

I've completed the story 5 times now and Roman has hardly ever phoned me. Whenever he does phone me it is always a variety of things that he/both of us want to do. But when he asks to go bowling (hardly) I just laugh and agree to do so.

 

The one person who does phone me up alot to go out is Michelle of all people, I went out with her so many times on one story playthrough that we ran out of things to talk about.

I know how you feel. People complain about such a small feature that is totally avoidable, yet the way some people say it as though it hinders the way they play the game. Roman rarely calls me at all. I had to call him in order to get the 100% I wanted. But Roman's voice actor was cool to make a joke about this so I'm not sure. People thrive on gossip, I guess... Kind of sad that people would spread misinformation while other people willingly absorb them.

It depends on what time of the day it is.

 

f.e. Brucie will never call you FOR A FRIENDSHIP ACTIVITY at 03:00 a.m.

Packie will never call for a friendship activity between 08:00 a.m. - 15:00 p.m.

 

all these friends have their specific times to call you for a hangout.

 

ROMAN is the ONLY one in VANILLA who can call you during the whole 24 hours.

 

 

 

If you happen to play a lot while it's Brucie's time, sure the possibility is higher that he will call you often, during the night time, it's mostly Packie.

It's pretty random, apparently. For me, it's Brucie and Dwayne first, Roman and Jacob second, and Packie last.

 

They don't call me that much. Any of them. The problem is, I'm always doing something at any moment (either going to a mission or going to a safehouse), so anytime they call me, even if I hadn't received a call for ten days, will always be on a bad moment.

 

BTW, is Roman scripted to phone you before starting a scheduled mission? Roman called me before both the French Tom mission and the Goldberg mission to go drinking, and using exactly the same dialogue. Was that scripted?

To achieve these 90 % is easier than anything.

You can do it in 1-2 ingame days, this means, in about half an houer or something more or less you get it.

 

You can skip Dwayne by killing him.

 

You go out with Roman, ask him for Bowling and also go eating & drinking...if it isn't already above 90% because of the story.

Same with Packie, call him for anything, Bowling, Stripclub. Go also play darts or drinking and he should be fine, too.

Same with Brucie and Jacob.

 

3 activities are possible per hangout.

I kept dwayne alive for obv reasons playboy x is a fa**ot, he has claude's outfit & a decent safehouse

 

So it's almost like tbogt then, you can do 3 at once? I thought you could only do 1?

 

The main thing that puts me off is brucie is the person I hate the most in gta history, even more than dimitri
