THking
I am having trouble with my gta sa....... when ever i start gta sa ... after about 4-5 minutes playing, the game crashes. Before playing gta sa , at first i took a whole back up of the game. So when the "crash problm" started.. i replaced the current files & folders with the backups ones. But still after 4-5 mint playing the game crashes. I am using cleo 4 for unique mods and it's running great. I don't think the problm is with the cleo files. But if it's not the cleo, then what da hell is wrong wid the game???? plsssssssssssssssssssssssss heeeeeeelllllllpp!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kirst
I would say install a new clean copy of the game and see if that fixes it, if yes, you know something's up with your mods. If not, you can conclude there's either something wrong with Windows (presuming you're on Windows) or you have a hardware issue. Hope that sort of helps. lil weasel
We don't 'fix' modded games in this part of the forums. What is your Operating System (XP/Vista/etc.) You didn't say how your game is installed. Are you playing the game with the Original DVD in the drive? What Edition is your Game? Did the game ever work properly? It is suggested that before you go any further Remove all mods from the game. Then play it to be sure it works. And Then, you may install your mods one at a time playing the game to be sure it works before you install the next mod. When you hit the one the game doesn't like, Don't Use It. or go to the Modding Forums for help with it. The game as issued works, when it doesn't it is almost always the mods that screw it up. Your 'backup' of the game isn't worth the trouble as it may be corrupt, reinstall with the Original DVD after you have completled a through removal of the current installation. t0grul
Try to install a very fresh and original DVD version. Because of audio files are compressed in pirate version.
Original Light
Do you have a disk version or a free download version? Now some mods make me crash also, I had no choice but to remove them. When did the problem start to happen, what was the last mod that you installed to your games directory? Try removing the last mod you put in. Also click on the the folder, click on properties, go under previous versions, click on a previous date to revert it to, which could be last week, last month, or even a couple of days back. Do that with your CLEO foldeer or any other folders you modified. It works almost every time. If you have any issues, PM me, and I will be glad to help you out. THking
Thanks anyway guys... I think i'll have to start over again.. Maybe the problm is with 1 of the mods i used...
lil weasel
Since you have avoided the subject I will make the bald statement that IF you are using a Pirated (warez) game, to make modding easier, that could/would also be a cause of the problem. As most warez are modded and usually have something wrong with the basic game.
