OverTheBelow
For $101 it's worth it, but its pretty weak. Don't expect to play new games (post-2007) on it.
Th3MaN1
I don't want to play newer games.I just want to play older games normally.
Otter
Let me throw down flip it and reverse it. But really, I'd say no. It's not worth it. Unless it comes with a really nice monitor or something. It's not so old as to be useless, but it's old enough that you will quickly become frustrated with the limitations. Sombra
Athlon 64 2600 is from like 02-03 (So it's most likely a single core), which would probably make the board a Socket 462 or 939 which could hinder upgrades. Save some more and buy a decent rig. join the 11%
NCONiall
I have a similar system, same graphics card, a sh*ttier CPU but more RAM. I play games like San Andreas fine, although lately for some odd reason the game has began to stutter, I think this have something to do with XP Service Pack 3 since it started stuttering once I upgraded to SP3. If you really want to know, I tried running GTA IV on my system as well and it ran at about 10-15(sometimes dips below 10 if it get crowdy) FPS on the lowest settings with a high resolution. Hopefully that'll give you some sort of an idea of what the performance is like. My system is socket 939 and as .Lycosa said, limits upgrades. Last time I checked for the price of a socket 939 dual core you could probably get an AMD Phenom X4. All in all though, I manage in fact I've played through a few high end games and finished them without too much bother. I mainly use it for old games though so if that's what you want then take it. Well if we get to buy this pc(no monitor, keyboard, mouse or anything else)I won't play "Big games" like Gta 4.I'll stick to San Andreas and these kind of games.Still, that Pc and AMD Athlon is much more better that an Intel® Celeron® It's not so old as to be useless, but it's old enough that you will quickly become frustrated with the limitations. I'm already frustated with this one's limitations. When we buyed this one,I didn't know anything about Pc's,and I told the guys from where I bought it to give me a good one for gaming, they tricked me and gave me this.
