And sorry to say this but the 3DS is like the DS version in graphics.
GTA 360
Poll! PSV, it also has touch pad on the back. Plus nintendo is just childish, and the 3d thing kills people.
Wu Kenny Lee
Well, we don't know anything about the battery capacity of the Vita. I except it to run 1 or 1 1/2 hours max before the battery is dead. And why I would want a portable console if I can't even play it longer than a hour without recharging it? Wouldn't be a stationary console better for me if I want something with good graphics and I know that I won't go outside with it (or at least not long enough)? Not that the 3DS would run much longer when the 3D functions are enabled lol.
gta_king
Plus nintendo is just childish, and the 3d thing kills people. What? Sorry I must have been offworld when all thos reports about the 3DS killing people came up. Which is better, same as the bloody Nintendo DS Vs PSP debate, neither of them they just do different things. The Nintendo 3DS is lacking at the moment from poor selection of games and a previously high price point however with titles like Resident Evil Revelations, a new Professor Layton, MGS and a number of others the game selection is looking more promising. The Vita obviously has power under its hood and hype surrounding it. Plus it looks to have a decent selection of games, problem is so did the PSP. I remember the PSP had power under its hood, hype surrounding it and what looked to be a decent selection of games and the PSP while good never really achieved its full potential as far as sales go. darthYENIK
Vita, I guess. But I don't really like handheld "console" games. I'd rather have thousands of cheap games on my phone that I can buy for a buck or get for free. If I want a real gaming experience, I want to cherish it, and not have to play it on a tiny screen and have to worry about battery life. I don't have to play top quality engaging story driven games every where I go. You can call it casual, but that's the type of gamer I am away from my home. There is no need for me to buy and play a big $50-$60 game 10 minutes at a time when I have Plants vs. Zombies for $0.99. And I don't have to carry another electronic device in my pocket. Handheld's future in in the phone. I'm not sure if there is much of a future for console makers in handheld gaming, unless they make phones. darthYENIK
NGP - Nintendo Got Pawned again like always 1. NGP has nothing to do with Nintendo 2. It's PWNed, not PAWNed. 3. Not "again like always", because Nintendo has had a stranglehold on the handheld gaming market for over 20 years. Them dropping the ball on the 3DS is a first. So it's more like "for the first time, like never before."

E.A.B.
Plus nintendo is just childish Not gonna look at your profile, but a couple of badass points tells me you're under 18 and a mere child yourself. How can I make such an assumption? Because most 12 year olds that play GTA are constantly trying to look older and badass by listening to mature music, playing mature games, and watching mature tv shows for mature people like themselves. I actually have an appropriate image for this somewhere: gta_king narrowed it down pretty well. It's software that makes the console, not hardware. The PS3 is miles better than the 360 when it comes to hardware. Yet the 360 reigns. The Vita looks nice, and I applaud Sony for not skimming on the hardware whatsoever. Since one thing I have against Nintendo is their consistency in their hesitant nature when it comes to hardware improvements. Also, f*ck their pricing. Once it didn't rip people off as well as they thought it would (lack of sales) they immediately lowered thr f*cking price. Nintendo f*ck YOU. But I don't buy Nintendo portables for Nintendo. DAT THRID PARTY SUPPORT. It's like the SNES. And f*ck their rehashes comign down the pipe. I played Zelda and starfox 10 years ago. HOW ABOUT A NEW f*ckING STARFOX

HOW ABOUT A NEW f*ckING STARFOX I like how you try talking down to someone else saying they're a little kid trying to act mature then two paragraphs down you're crying in caps lock about how you haven't got to play a new starfox game in ten years. haha oh the irony and all because he called nintendo childish lol. But on topic- Vita all the way. Aren't it specs almost the same as the PS3? How could you go wrong with a handheld like that?
Ash_735
So far, Sony seems to be doing everything right with the Vita, they've got a good price point, a good line up, a good launch set up, really getting developers involved with the console, cross gaming chat, not skimped on the hardware (who remembers the troll articles about the Vita only having 256MB RAM ), etc, so really, I'd wait, because with that much behind it, the Vita launch is either going to be beyond amazing for gamers, or it's going to fall flat on its face. No. It's how I act on the internet in general. Overtly dramatic and such. But if it makes you feel better, YA TOTALLY GOT ME BRAH. OH MAN TOTAL 0WNAGE:jerkoffsmiley: I may like Nintendo, but I'll be the first to list off their faults: Constant banking on nostalgia; re-re-re-releases of old games; the Wii's marketing scheme focusing on your grandmother who doesn't give a damn about gaming; Sub-par hardware; playing ''f*ck the customer'' by overpricing the 3DS then lowering the price when no one falls for it; no F-Zero this gen. I get it, Nintendo has some sh*tty practices. But when I hear 13 year olds that think Halo was the first FPS ever say dumb sh*t like ''Oh man that sh*t is for kiddies my mommy was making me hot pockets and we totally ripped on that kiddy console so much that we needed a diaper change'' it irks the hell out of me. It doesn't surprise me that most people on a GTA forum barely played with Nintendo consoles and don't know of its library (except for MARIO and ZELDA). But some of the things people say are mad ig'nant, nigga Aren't it specs almost the same as the PS3? How could you go wrong with a handheld like that? By being like the PS3. Like I said; hardware doesn't make the console. The software library does. The PS3 was the best console (hardware-wise) of this generation, yet it wasn't the 'victor'. The 360 was. The PS3 wound up being ''that one console that gets all the 360 ports''. Exmaple 2:The Concorde was an incredible plane, yet it never....TOOK OFF. HAH. 3rd:The Sega handheld (that could play Genesis games on the go) was miles above the Gameboy, yet what happened to it? Market dominance doesn't rely on shiny hardware. There's a reason why most people drive Toyotas and sh*t. Think man THINK. How easy it is to develop for the console, cost of development, market penetration (lol) of the console, and many other factors determine what console will sell more and what most parties will flock to. In the grand scheme of things, hardware capabilities don't factor into it as much as you think they do. Edited September 5, 2011 by E.A.B.

However the PS3 has now started to win on sales and is starting to get more PS3 usage as being simultaneously with the 360. I would presume that with the right marketing the Vita could sell exceedingly well as marketing/advertising weren't done well on PS3, so if Sony gets the Vita out there It should be plain sailing. Chinatown Wars
OH MY GOD Will you people just shut the F.UCK UP ABOUT NINTENDO BEING CHILDISH AND CRAP. Now, Look at driver renegade. Every, EVERY CUTSCENE HAS HE WORD f*ck AND BLOOD IN IT. And power wise, I don't see ps vita having to support 2 screens, with all the same lamdscapes twice. For graphics look at Resident Evil: 3D and Revelations and MGS: 3D. Jesus f*cking Christ you guys need to shut the f*ck up about Nintendo being childish. They aren't trying to be that much anymore. But anyway both, because I have a 3ds and am getting the Vita.

E.A.B as much as i like my PS3, The hardware is just about exactly on par, the only difference is that the PS3 has a blu-ray drive, otherwise the hardware while from different makers, have the same specifications. Xbox is easier to code for, the PS3 was intentionally made more difficult so that it's lifespan could be longer, and developers have the hang of it now. @Lightning. PS3 has been gaining on sales and has been for the last 6 months, probably because of the amount of games now available, free online and blu-ray, Yay! (i don't like M$).
