Multiple Graphic Requests

Can someone make me a Header in the Corleone Font (on dafont.com) that says Strive for Power Roleplay, make it kind of stand out rather than it be flat, and some other banners that say Giordano Family, the Mancini Family, Rackets, Weapons, Mancini Compound, the Giordano Compound, Rules, Objective, Family Payrolls, Properties, and Jobs all in the same font as the Header, and make the color white please.

 

For any who does it will get a nice cookie.

A loaded rifle; Assuming you're using Photoshop then make sure you start of your document with a transparent background.

When setting up your new document, select the highlighted box and select Transparent.

 

 

Paulie; I don't think you really need anything bigger than this.

Move on and keep practicing is all I can say.

Here is not the place to get emotional because you can't satisfy one's request, not everyone can; me included.

 

Besides creating graphics for people, its not a competition.

Don't think that just because someone chooses another graphic over yours means that you are the looser and aren't worth jack sh*t because that's not the case.

 

As I said before, move on and get over it, you can't satisfy everyone.

They designed PS to be difficult for a reason. They designed it so if you really want to be good at you have to go to school and or hire someone. It really isn't something anyone can pick up (ok it is) but it's not something you can pick up and be good at it right away. You have to take your time, practice, and experiment. I know this sh*t, for a while my company owned a printshop which did alot of graphics sh*t and it does take a bit to know and be good at. Alot of schooling and education is put into this. I'm sure many of the gfx guys here are in some sort of design course.

Okay. Relax. All cap's rage is not something you need to be going through over such a little thing. You do not need Photoshop to produce great graphic's. You just need to put effort into it and take pride in your work. That's the most important thing. Pride in your work. It will make you want to make even more graphic's, and now that you feel confident that you can make them, you will even produce better work!

@A Loaded Rifle.

 

Firstly, you don't suck. To even make a header is a good thing. Do you honestly think you can just jump right in and start doing requests? I don't think you can be good at anything in life without learning and practiscing. Not a single person here got Photoshop and suddenly became an amazing GFX artist. For some people it takes years to be good at it. I remember back when I first got interested in GFX, I was using some sh*tty program that barely produced anything that looked good, then I found GIMP - the free photoshop. I used it for around 2 years, learning tutorials and getting to know how everything worked. I thought I was pretty good too 'till I came here and saw people like Narcis'. So then I got Photoshop, and basically started from square 1 as if I had no graphics experience, reading tutorial after tutorial and trying to learn as much as I could about the program. But most importantly practise and patience. Now I have alot more knowledge and experience with graphics design, and I can produce things I'm actually happy with.

 

Though I still don't cosider myself anywhere near as skillful as some people here, and I'm certainly not a professional. I learned everything entirely on my own, no school or college courses. So if I can do that then you can certainly do it as well - as long as you have alot of interest in GFX. Look at some of the regular GFX artists here, and their early work, and now look what they can do. Doesn't just happen overnight, it's a skill, and skills take time to develop. Getting upset or angry about it simply won't get you anywhere.

 

Check this thread and go through all those tutorial websites. And soon you'll be making new GFX artists jealous cause everyone is taking your work and not theirs. Not that it's a competition or anything though - it's practise and it doesn't matter if someone doesn't take your work.

Get GIMP, it's almost as good as PS and I assure it's better than Element 5. Give it a try, then if you get better, get a couple of bucks saved up and cash in for Photoshop.

 

Question, do you guys upgrade your Ps every time a new one comes out? The first Ps I used was CS3, which I got because my mom is a graphic artist and she had it installed in the family computer which I also used. I knew pretty much nothing, though. Then I skipped all the way to CS5 and learned what I know now.

I started with CS5. I hated it. Than I got CS4, but I reset my computer because I didn't feel like slowly deleting pretty much everything. So then I just got CS3 and it's what I've been using since like July.
