aSilva Posted September 2, 2011 Share Posted September 2, 2011 Hey Guys cleaned everything (save Games in App data and all gta iv folders in C:/ removed) Fresh instaled GTA Iv then patched with 1,03, then instaled Ultimate Vehicle Pack V6. Crashes to desktop right when it says ssaving (or creating cant remember) new game. My Graphic card works fine, ati 5850, dont have any saved games, social club is instaled, did not crack any exe or anything.... If anyone coud let me know wt it could be i would appreciate... aSilva Posted September 2, 2011 Author Share Posted September 2, 2011 I just instaled patch 1,04 same problem, right where it says starting new game it crashes after 4 seconds... my 5850 driver is up to date with catalyst 1.8 i believe (the latest one).. aSilva Posted September 3, 2011 Author Share Posted September 3, 2011 (edited) i have found out that with the vehicle MOD if i delete the xlive.dll file from the directory, the game goes in wont crash but all cars look the same (BMW or AUDI or All Taxis), and they easily tip over, also playing wihtout the xlive.dll in game i dont have the F3 functionality menu for spawning cars and etc... i have tested out with patches 1,03 1,04 and 1,07 . SAME problem and Vehicle Pack V4 V5 V6 SAME PROBLEM it seems that is something to do with the xliveless.dll, savegame and the mod i just tried pasting a savedgame (i got online from mission 10) in the App Data Rockstar GTA directory to see if it would still crash on starting new game, but it crashed before it showed the mission name (without the vehicle mod the game does work fine with the same xliveless.dll(from the vehicle mod) file in the directory) Edited September 3, 2011 by aSilva Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
