Things that we like about Liberty City Stories

To be honest this was the first GTA I ever played so when I played it i thought "this is the best GTA ever!", then I tried Vice City. then GTA 3. Then San Andreas on PS2.

But anyway even though it has way less features than San Andreas I found the game to be enjoyable, enjoied the storyline, liked the rampages, challenged myself to find the glitches.

Liberty City - I absolutely love the atmosphere. Liberty City provides that 'magic' feeling, that just can't be described. I can get stuck into the game for hours just cruising around.

Vehicles - The vehicles in LCS are amazing. It's really hard to choose a favorite. The gang vehicles are the best out of all the GTA games, IMO.

Soundtracks - The music in LCS is very memorable. The game introduced me to some great songs/artists that I've never heard before.

The story was fantastic. Felt like a more satisfying GTA III to me. The best GTA I've ever played. IV is a very close second.

Ahh, the story. How could I forget? The storyline is great, and the missions are really fun.

Overall, I pretty much just love everything in LCS. There's nothing to 'hate'.

^And of course, the theme song that displays alongside them? I love the theme song, one of my favorite GTA songs icon14.gif

The LCS theme song is my favorite, too. It's called "The Dark March", am I right?

Correct, and I love how badass it is, especially when you play LCS for the first time and hear it biggrin.gif

This reminds me of Portland and all its missions, when I started the game smile.gif

I hope GTA V lives up to its hype and does a good job like LCS did icon14.gif

I liked lots of things about this game smile.gif It's actually my second favourite GTA game, I have it for PS2, PSP and PS Vita and getting it for PS3. It was just such a great game. This may sound strange but I liked the story more than every GTA except San Andreas smile.gif

GTA LCS was the first GTA that I completed 100%. The story was one of the best. The radios, especially HR and K-Jah, are wonderful. It's better than any game of IV era. I had great moments with this game inlove.gif

I don't understand why so much people hate it...

9mm Mayhem and Scooter Shooter forced me to sexually rape my PSVITA with my penis. I love those minigames so much.

Also, the Thunder-Rodd is awesome, and yet you do not need to get to the 2nd/3rd island to drive it.

The whole game! The story was immersive. The game was easy enough, but still provided a challenge. I never felt like, "Ugh, do I HAVE to play now?" like I do with GTA IV.

Yes, this game is one of those ones you could just play over and over again without getting tired, it not only provides a challenge but the challenge itself is riddled with fun and immersive features all at the same time. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is truly a masterpiece :)

The exclusive vehicles, Deimos SP, Phobos VT, Manchez, V8 Ghost, Thunder Rodd etc...

Slash TV and the atmosphere too.

The other games don't have these badass vehicles

The simplistic and fast paced story missions.

They were short, a lot of times only a couple of minutes long, but it kept a steady flow throughout.

I liked some of the new characters even though their appearance were brief, Leon McAffrey in particular, and I also like the redesign of Donald Love.

Salvatore Leone still has his charms, and there's this weird sensation where you play as a protagonist who remains fiercely loyal to this character whom you've already killed in his first appearance, and betrayed in his second.

Music selection were decent, better than I expected, although the talk show was probably the series' worst.

Toni Cipriani's selection of outfits were nice.

This is the game that introduced sprinting while holding any weapons, even with shotguns or rocket launchers which were previously undoable, not even in San Andreas.

You could also use auto-aim with the minigun now.

Sure it removed the helicopters and swimming and climbing mechanics, but it's not like we really needed them in Liberty City Stories, aside perhaps for the helicopter.

Removal of crouching mechanics were a bit odd however considering that the npcs Can crouch.

First, the opening soundtrack, that's so cool. Second, the map which is so challenging when you go around the city without open your big map(without press the "start" button). Try it! Conquer every road.
