Hello there. this is my first topic, I don't know if this tread existed already, but anyway i'm gonna make this tread

 

Once upon a time i was looking for some interesting mods in Mixmods.com.br and i found an article about one of the most lies that have expanded since the last... idk, 10 years or something like that, and it is The myth "Limitations of time"

i don't know if you have ever heard (or read) about some things that rockstar didn't add in the game before released it in 2004 and one of the most excuses that i always heard about it, is "Limitations of time" idk know if in English or Russian community this myth exists, but in Latin American community is an irrefutable fact that you always hear the famous phrase "por las limitaciones de la época" in any YouTube videos about gta sa beta or similar

this article talks about all things that Rockstar could add in the game but never did

Better graphics? there are game with games with better graphics than SA that were created in the same engine (renderware) games like Black or Burnout. there are no illumination either, all game illumination are textures put over the models that moves when the car moves, the reflections is a textured that moves around the cars, and map shadows are more fake than the virginity of a p0rn actress

 

Is ps2 not powerful enough to withstand to everything that gta sa would have had if nothing had been deleted? answer= lie too, if ps2 can with HL2 a game have great graphics and great mechanics system in the map, why couldn't with SA?

 

Useless audios: Have you noticed all of the unused dialogues that there are into audio files? what do you think dude? those audios take up disk space, space that could taken to implement something much better to the game.

(this remembers me when i found three whole episode of Transformers G1 in the CD of Transformers The Game (2007)  that makes the game weighs more than 3gb instead of 1gb)

There are even some useless files into the game that you can delete with no afraid of your game gets crash while playing 

If ps2 is really a poor console, why they didn't add more things to xbox (which is twice as powerful as ps2) or pc versions (you what modder have done with this version) they're even more powerful than ps2, specially pc

 

In conclusion: Rockstar didn't add more things to GTA SA, not because they couldn't, but because of laziness, sh*tty textures, an awful optimization, a lot of bugs, you know what i mean

 

What do you think about it?

it looks like it hit somewhere and was damaged I noticed that the hot dog kombi in the background looks like it’s not on the pc but on the ps2 or it’s I don’t know if it’s present.

I have a theory that makes sense, regarding the origin of the RC Cam.

As people might now, San Andreas vehicle models are essentially made by 3 things.

-Textures 
-3D models
-Collision

Considering that within the game, depending on the size of the collision of a vehicle, the camera will be closer or further from it. an example is noticeable when you drive a Mower or a Dumper

Now, in this case with the RC Cam vehicle, if you drive it for the first time you'll notice that the camera will be too close to the player. This is because the collision of the RC Cam is too small. 

The developers probably needed a collision small enough to make the remote control vehicles have a fitting camera for them. So they decided to use a plant pot as reference for the size of the collision that RC vehicles could use, so the camera could fit them.

From there the name RC cam comes from. basically using a plant pot as a collision reference for RC vehicles camera.

Likeaboss found must be beta og loc with bandana at the mouth of the first version.

I realized that the face of the og loc was different like Jizzy B. in my opinion in the first version.

Little comparision of Hashbury, I used the pre-release clip from flash site.

 

1º Juank Air ad was present in beta. present in the PC guide, The image is in the guide manual for pc and yes it has something beta it with better quality images.

2º.&.3º. The Brown Embassy and Smokeydokey shops were removed from this street in final version.
4º Other Brown Embassy and Smokeydokey shops were present on the other street at the same time, only "Smokey" is still here in final version.
5º Lamppost did not exist at that location in the beta and later added the final version in the 6º image seen in the clip.
