Loading names from .fxt-file

Is it possible, so I can load new car names from .fxt-file when I want to? For example, if I got Infernus, and I press some key, the name of Infernus would change to something else?

And, how I can check if some car has some tuning parts? For example, if I want to check does Jester have front and rear bumper, how I can do it?

No. You can use CLEO4 dynamic_GXT_entry opcodes for that though.

About the tuning parts thingy, I'm not sure, but 096D may be helpful.

Well, 0ADF gives the exact result I want. Thanks smile.gif

I'm going to try playing with 096D, hopefully good results.

EDIT: 096D seems to work properly, now I need some help with it...

096D: get_car 0@ car_component 7 on_slot 17@

So, I know how to handle with "get_car 0@" and "on_slot 17@", but where I can check "car_component 7"? I mean, how I know which part it refers to?

I think car component IDs were already documented on GTAG. Sadly, down yet.

Well, only way is to experiment then. sly.gif

I might post in this thread the car_components, when I figure out which refers to what.
