Secura
Now we all know about the GTA V Wishlist which can be found Here to make suggestions for V. Do not post suggestions for V here as this is not this topics purpose. It is one of a much more destructive nature that encourages healthy in depth debates about V's features. It is simply as the title suggests. What Ideas have you seen or heard of that make you want to purge the person that thought them up in fire. Please do not use this as a simple list however, give reasons for your haterd or distaste toward these ideas and suggestions. For example if you do not like on persons Idea on a Let's say a Weapon system IE how many weapons the Player can have at one time please go into depth about why such feature annoys you and why it should never be introduced to V. If you wish you may bring Ideas out of the GTA wishlitst and then discuss why you hate the Idea so. So please Debate Discuss and Enjoy...
Jimmy_Leppard
What I definitely don't want is a small map. I always like to explore the map. A small map means less opportunities, less missions or less quality missions and less quality missions mean less fun. Tomy1986
High system requirements. This. GTA IV almost required a NASA computer to be played on PC! Also, I would not like to see so much police forces at low wanted levels. In IV, with only two stars (which were absurdly easy to earn), you'd had four police cars chasing you plus police units on foot in every street, making it difficult to escape from them! That was a huge difference from III era games. I'm not complaining nor whining about it; I'd still play any GTA game even if we had to fight tanks at one star wanted level... But it would be nice if R* made something in between IV and III for the police in the next game. Another thing I wouldn't like to see again from IV... Shooting your gun in a boat the middle of the sea, with no one near... And getting a wanted level.

chuckberry04
High system requirements. You guys should be lucky you still get a GTA for pc! It's a pure consolegame now. junkpile
I don't want this over-the-top action like in TBOGT. Where you capture trains and take out hundreds of men and actually stay sane with a sense of morality. Why? It didn't fit. Sure, as Niko you get to kill lots of guys as well, but somehow it did fit with his story. The soldier who has seen so much in the war it ruined him. In LC he tried to get back his humanity. Compare GTA IV to EFLC. The map and the crossover of characters and missions let you think it's the same game, but actually, I felt as if Luis could own the whole sh*t with these explosive weapons. These weapons made it too easy. In Freemode/Multplayer, no problem, it's fun but during a serious story? Tanks, Noose vans and lots of Helicopters taken down? please...this was ridiculous. He ain't afraid the goverment comes after him but f*cking Bulgarin? Anyways, this "over the top action" with rockets, James Bond like missions with helicopters shall be an optional thing for multiplayer maybe. I'm afraid i have to disagree with you because your sense of morality would ruin a GTA Game. So you are basically stating that we are not and should not be alowed over the top weapons and missions because it's to fun and not serious enough. Maybe you should go back and play the III Era and then make that statement again. GTA is all about having fun because the very reason games exist is to produce enjoyment or in other more commonly used words FUN.
junkpile
you asked for opinions, here's mine. the basis of GTA IS money murder and mayhem, but you can easily tell, that GTA went into another direction, a more serious one. actions have consequences and you see that in GTA IV, no happy ending at all. well ok, I'll be more specific, I easily see Niko's and Johnny's motivation. But not Luis's. The weapons are optional, so I can choose myself to walk into a mission with only a pistol. But the setting? He kills over 1000 guys ane somehow stays sane, runs a legitimate business, but kills hundreds of cops because Yusuf wants a train? It didn't fit. Are you merely looking for people to validate your ideas, or are you ACTUALLY interested in other people's opinions. Either you should let people openly voice their opinion and discuss it properly, or not make topics that will probably get locked anyway. for the record i also disagree with him, but your reply seemed uncalled for imo. I get what Junkpile's saying about Luis. He was cool, but i had questioned why he was in such a life of crime. No motivation? He did seem a bit of a crontradiction. Johnny fought fiercely for his brothers and to survive, add a bit of greed following the diamond deal, it worked for a badass biker. Niko was a deformed person, corrupted by war. Anything you could do as Niko made sense, from killing sprees to selective assassinations. He was a human, a troubled soul, but also a state-created killer. ON TOPIC: I don't want to see any kind of multiplayer focus. Games nowadays are slowly putting more importance on multiplayer. GTA has seemed to stay away from this. MP was an extra. It should stay that way imo. Also I don't want to see another weak, stretched story line. BOGT's story sucked. It was thin and didn't pull me much. Niko's tugged the heartstrings, made a man think. Johnny's was the opposite to the american dream, or perhaps what the american dream actually is. I don't want the story to play to braindead gamers. You've got a point, it does look fun but, all that fun comes at you all at once right from the beginning of the game, you don't get to work for any of the cool stuff to feel like you've actually accomplished something. I feel like Rockstar knows what is right and what is wrong for their games, they'll get a pretty perfect balance between the fun and the realism and either way, we'll still buy it, c'mon, it's GTA. PublicAnenome
What I DON'T want is the same cop AI. I don't want the cops to always know exactly where I am and pretend not to... you know the way that when they can't see you they still spawn in huge numbers nearby and converge on your exact location. As soon as they spawn they head straight for you and walk around aimlessly in your immediate location. I do not want to see that again. I do not want the handling of vehicles to continue becoming more comical and unrealistic, as we saw in TBOGT. I always choose an NRG or PCJ over the new bikes. I do not want auto-aim to be permitted in ranked online matches. Hopefully this game-breaker won't be included at all. It's very hard to write an anti-wishlist, it keeps sounding like a wishlist, which it is OP by it's very nature. An anti-wishlist is a wishlist of things you don't want. Maybe you should read your own OP before snapping at people contributing. Just saying! I only contribute to these forums because R*'s PR and marketing agents read them in excessive detail (TBOGT was written by players here on this forum indirectly). The one thing that drags this forum down though is the attitude of it's 'community', always bitching and snapping. It's like a nursery for preteen internet trolls. It's a good topic, try not to let it descend to that level.

If you are too lazy to aim, then you cant play the game, simple as that. Multiplayer should be in the game, since it is very important to make the game even better, and what you guys think the gangs here in the forums would do if the multiplayer was cutted off? It would be shame. Mutiplayer > Single Player.
CheesyJ
I don't want to see any characters from previous eras returning. As I have already stated, it shows a distinct lack of creativity. I don't want to see areas that are wasted and have no use whatsoever. I have nothing against the inclusion of countryside, but it should only be included if animals are also in the game and situations can occur while in these areas. San Andreas had a lot of good countryside, but it was not appropiately used to its full potential. I don't want a short storyline. While the length of it in GTA 4 was satisfactory, I still feel that it could be extended further. The storyline should take roughly 50 hours to complete, which is a lot longer than the standard GTA game. That is all that is coming to my mind right now. Chances are that there is more, but I won't rack my brains thinking about it.
Mokrie Dela
@darrellmonks I wondered how long until someone brought up the IV friend phonecalls issue. now personally I havn't had a problem with this, but it could be fixed by simply having the player dictate the activities. R* should bring in a Facebook style website where your friends will ask to go out or something - keep it seperate, then player can call their friend to start a friend activities. @Royal55, I think it's important for me to point out that I'm not saying that SR or GTA is better because of fun/realism. They both cater to different aspects of the same genre - such as Fifa and PES, or COD & and battlefield. @PublicAnenome I don't understand what you mean about the handling in BOGT. I havn't played it for ages but from what i remember it wasn't OTT. Also, PublicAnenome, I realise that this may seem hypocritical (as i mentioned before you can't ask for opinions then complain about them) but I have to voice my disagreement about your auto aim comment. There are many people who do not have the skill, hand eye coordination or whatever to use manual aim well. Also there's some gamers out there that buy the game, play it for an hour or so a week, and may pop online for a quick game. If these players can't use manual aim well, online would not be entertaining for them. It's simply selfish and unfair to say that AA should be left out completely when the game has the ability to disable it when creating the game. Now I am not trying to mow down your opinion, you're welcome and rightful to voice that, as am I, but AA is a massively over-rated topic. There's a simple solution - turn it off when you play and enable the filters for online. Sorted. The best solution I've heard is for it to be disabled by default. I sometimes play with AA on, and sometimes with it off. Hell, Even COD has a form of AA. The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. Racecarlock
I don't want it to get too serious. I know IV was, but don't start making me consider things such as marriage, taxes, bathroom breaks, eating, fueling up my car and more. Although refueling should be optional for those that still want it. I just don't want realism getting in the way of fun. In IV I fly out of my windshield way too much. It would have been fine if I had a damn seatbelt option, but apparently the game wants me to drive slow or something, which I never do. I don't want things like traffic laws. I mean, for f*cks sake I get enough stars from pedestrians struck and attack on a vehicle as is, I don't want to have to use the wanted down code even more. Speaking of attack on a vehicle, when I set a pile of wood or a desk in my house on fire with a molotov, those things are generally not considered vehicles, therefore I SHOULD NOT GET A STAR FOR ATTACK ON A VEHICLE. At least make it say "Arson" because I know a cupboard is NOT A f*ckING VEHICLE. Oh, just for a double negative so I can still get away with a wish, I don't want not to be able to base jump. I like base jumping.
