Its gotten so bad I have had to disconnect my keyboard from my ps3 just so I dont reply to him. So has anyone used the grief report service and does it work. Its pretty annoying to turn on my ps3 to find 23 new messages from some idiot who thinks Ive wronged him in gta4. and then the same thing happens the next day. Ive already told him that if he wasnt good enough to kill me in the match we played then why would I bother playing him again. He had his chance and failed then left the game. My original message to him was " what no revenge?'. so maybe I was asking for trouble. Do I need to grief report every message to get a result? theres about 100 between 4 psn names anyway let me know about any similar experiences or griefer problems and how you fixed them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That doesn't surprise me. yeah Ive had people send me a few dozen nasty messages, but never anyone who has gone to the trouble of creating a new psn. uareapussie was his latest. and he sent me 18 messages. and all because he couldnt kill me. I mean isnt that abit over the top? He had his chances but just couldnt do it.Give it up, you were bettered on the day, get over it. It happens to all of us. nambr9 Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 lol imagine how frustrated he must be Registering all those new emails, new psn accounts ... maybe you are not telling us the whole story Well anyways ... my advice is that you 1) Ignore him 2) Take time and respond to ALL of his msgs with just "hehe" or something 3) Report him - you have nothing to loose 4) Ask people on this forum to flood him with messages, so he gets a taste of his own medicine. junkpile Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 hey legacy, there was some similar topic we discussed, at least I got something in mind, anyways, my advice to you: IGNORE THIS f*ckER he got your psn id and if you block him, he creates another just to message you. if you reply, you just feed him more, he wants to be right and can't accept the loss. if other unfamiliar mails land in your inbox, just erase them without reading, really, simply ignore morons like that. Legacy-666_ Posted August 17, 2011 Author Share Posted August 17, 2011 (edited) Thats the thing, if I'd really been an ass to this guy then I could accept it, but I didnt , it was just the fact he couldnt kill me that got him mad. well woke up this morning and yip another 1, RustynDusty and 12 messages. haha I laughed for 5 minutes reading them.I decided to ignore him. I thought about reporting them all in the hope playstation see they have all been sent from the same isp. my block list which has only ever had 1 or 2 names in there ( usually unblocked a few days later) now has 5 from the same guy. also thought about that flooding his messages thing but Im sure thats frowned apon here. That was the day I found out there's a 50 ID cap to the block list (clearly not a good thing if I had to find out . Not only did this person send around 20-30 message per account, but they also got all of there friends to do it with them. I just stopped using my account. There was nothing to be done at the time. Even though it was my main account, the first ever I played with online, and the first level 10 I ever gotten, I just moved on. Your best bet it ignoring it. Understand that he has no power, but thinks he can gain power over you by doing what he's doing. Don't give him the power. You achieve this by not letting his actions/words have any effect on you. Enjoy what lengths he goes to to convince himself he's important, such a sad sad man (or woman). Laughable. If it does go too far though and you feel threatened, definately report it. From similar situations I've seen, if someone really goes to lengths to stalk someone else, those responsible for the game/network go to lengths to stop it. Im just ignoring him now, theres really not much more I can do about it except feel flattered that he cares so much for me. I was tempted to accept his 1v1 offer,just to shut him up, but when I beat him again Im sure he will keep on messaging me. I was just messing with ya, we did have a minor argument once about modding on the 360, I did it out of necessity really, I got so fed up with it I have stopped playing on the 360 and stuck to the ps3 for the last few months.
