ok im sick of this crap please help

ok iv had enough everytime i play gta sa i jump in a boat or im going fast this crap comes up the screen goes a weird colour then fades with this loading box iv tried everything keeps happening please help

Get rid of the mods.

Reinstall the game and delete the gta_sa.set file from the User Files folder.

Honestly, that happened to me on my xbox before. I don't have any mods, i don't even kmow how to mod a xbox. It must be something weird with the game that it loses it's colors [they fade away and look all "trippy" right?] I don't know the cause but it's sort of cool looking.

Once you've cleaned out the mods and have the game working properly again. Then you might reinstall the mods One-At-A-Time playing the game before you install the next Mod. When the Game fails, again, Don't use that or anymore mods. Your system can't handle them.

 

Did you play the game before you started putting the Boat Mods in?

I havent installed any car mods the only mod i have on is cam hack and i used cfg studio 2 to tweek the boat handling and give it a little more speed thats all iv done and it still does it with the cam hack off so really theres no mods

• What platform: PC, PS2, or X-Box

• What version number of GTA: SA

• What CPU and its speed

• How much RAM, also what kind (DDR, SDRAM) and speed

• What video card AND VRAM AND DRIVER VERSION

• Which version of Windows (and any service packs)

• Which DirectX version AND Driver version

• What sound card and driver version

• History: Is this your first install? Did it work once before? Anything that is relevant.

• Screenshots, if applicable. This is especially necessary with display issues which can be explained far easier by use of visual aids.

• Above all else, a detailed description of your problem. Give as much information as possible! Keep it relevant, though. We don't need a fifty-page printout from some diagnosis program. Usually the above prompts will suffice.

 

If you don't know the more detailed specs of your system, and the system control panel is of little help for most of these, download and use Everest Free Edition 2.20 or Fresh Diagnose. Be sure to extract only the relevant information from these programs - again, lengthy printouts are meaningless and tedious to rifle through.

 

Do not ask questions relating to modding in any way or form - we have an entire editing subforum to house any such inquiries.

 

Sorry, I'm just getting tired of seeing people ask questions and everyone else trying to help have to turn around and ask that person questions that should have been already included with the original question. Editing the handling of the boat might've modified its functions too much so when you step on it and start driving, some function might be exaggerately high or low and the boat melts into the game limits, causing that because the game doesn't have enough resources to process the huge error caused by bad handling settings. Get rid of the handling mod.

i think your right but im a boat racer here in australia lol its kind of a simulator haha yea i think il change the handling back and and see how it goes thanks guys for the replys
