Joald
As I mentioned in the title, I have a problem with DirectX. A few weeks ago I installed a recently purchased SA copy. After completion of End of the line mission I installed GTA United mod from gtainside.com. Then Ihad problem with my VC, so I had to re-install it. During the installation I checked to install DirectX 9.0c. As Vice City works well with it, SA seemed not to like this DX version from VC. So I installed a latest DX version for xp downloaded from the internet and still it didn't solve my problem. My computer is with Nvidia 7800 GT, Intel Pentium 3.00GHz, 2 GB RAM, SA installed in path C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\GTA San Andreas and it is not mistake, there IS double \GTA San Andreas. At the end I would add that I have also latest version of ENB series.
TheNathanNS
Ahh I have that problem with ENB Series I start the game and it says "The Application failed to start because d3___.dll was not found" then it says "Grand Theft Auto SA needs Direct 9x" so try removing the ENB and see if that fixes it. lil weasel
Regretably this is not the Forum to be asking for Modding Help, or help with a Problem caused by a Mod/ENB. We can only suggest you Remove all Mods to the game, and if it works you don't have a problem. Then you can put the mods in playing the game between each mod to be sure it still works. Don't use the mod that caused/s the problem(s). In Your haste to post You must have missed the Bottom Main Menu choice for MODDING. And obviously the Banner lettering: Modding questions belong in THE MODDING FORUMS! Where You click on the underlined words. that’s where You can find Players who ARE Modders, they can really give You some help! Joald
I put this in this forum because I thought I had problem with DirectX and SA, not with a mod or ENB. As TheNathanNS written, removing ENB helped, but it still crashes while starting a new game.
lil weasel
It would be rare for the Game and DirectX to be a problem, as they are designed to work together. However, Mods/ENB are not a proper part of the Game, so they usually cause problems. Now that you know the ENB removal helped. Do the same with the Mods.
