Patch for version 3

I'm not sure if this is in the right place, I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. I have san andreas version 3 from direct2drive. After I installed the enb series my saved games and my custom music stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and my saved games and music worked. With version 3 sami won't work and I can't install cleo either. I have tried patching to version 1 but I get an error that says the exe is not reconized. Is there any way around this? Thanks any help is greatly appreciated.

Also with some mods that say that, head over to their .ini settings (E.G GTA IV HUD main.ini) and somewhere in there it should say "checkexeversion=1" or sometimes it says "chechexeversion=1" if it says "chechexeversion=1" rename it to "checkexeversion=0" change the 1 to 0 and save as the file's .ini . (If you don't know how to press save as, all files then type the files name in and then put .ini at the end to save as a .ini)

Thanks for your help. I'm having so many issues with trying to mod this game. I reinstalled my game , put my music in and the songs played fine. I then added a few saved games I found on a site, those didn't load, they showed up as saved games but the game just started as normal. I had an issue with my user track not working, I figured it out to be the realism mod I installed. Without the realism mod my user track works fine, with it installed it disables it. I removed the realism mod and tried installing some cars using sami, since my version is 3 sami was not supported, I need version 1. Using the realism mod I found downgrades the game to version 1 which makes cleo and sami supportive, I guess the same goes for the patches. I thought it was a great deal getting the gta collection on d2d but I think I would have rather bought it somewhere else. Thanks.

 

Is there any way to downgrade from version 3 to version1? None of the patches work, I'm able to get to version 2 but I still can't load any saved games. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.
