Mister Pink Posted May 14, 2012 Share Posted May 14, 2012 I hate the addiction that this game is . I thought it would be a fun little time killer for when I'm winding down. I didn't expect it to take me away from everything else that I'm playing. Nor did I account for the fact that this game makes time move in weird ways - ie. if you sit down and tell yourself you are just going to play 30 minutes of Trials, it turns into 2 hours. It also has that phenomenon where you play a track over and over again - you get real good, and then out of nowhere you start to turn retarded and seem to lose all the skill and timing you've gained. Too much fun. I'm going to show it to my wife today, because I think she will totally dig it. Oh man, you hit the nail on the head there. I got stuck trying to get gold on Sunset Stripped and after about 30 tries, I just got more and more retarded at it. It was sooo frustrating. After trying and failing so many times, I pissed through the next two getting gold after about 2 attempts. Then went back to the other one after a break and a fresh head. Seddo Posted May 14, 2012 Share Posted May 14, 2012 I'm struggling to do some of these extreme tracks, i've watched replays on the leaderboads and some of the things people can do with the bike just ain't happening for me. Whether it's being able to get extra height, better grip on slopes or just general bike control, there's some proper pro's on there that make this game look so easy. I do every now and again. Very addicting. Even guys that play Minecraft say that Trials is more addicting than it. I was really into it about three or four years ago when Trials HD first came out. I will never look at a platformer game again the same after playing them though. Evolution lets you download unlimited tracks for free that people create. I love this feature. They are really creative with them too. The multiplayer is okay. But the custom tracks are endless. I mean literally hours of just finding new tracks. No other game compares to me on getting the most bang for your buck. I am really looking forward to the Next Gen version of Trials. I think it is called Trials Fusion. Yeah, I've noticed the Created Tracks but currently I'm just playing through Single to get unlocks and what not. Almost at my A License .. there was one track I couldn't master Gold but I'll get it eventually! I remember playing Trials long before they came to consoles, it was on Miniclip.com (flash game network). Now that I'm discussing it, I'm going to play it.
