Jay
Im interested in this how fit do you have to be exactly for the police force? I know currently my people skills need working on, so I'm open to suggestions there, but I feel very much that I could pass any fitness examination without much problem, would it be on a treadmill though? Because although Im fit I really do hate running on and using gym equipment. I heard it was the beep test, which I always found quite simple to do. On a basic level, I'd say you should be able to run 400m at something approaching a sprint, and jog two miles without collapsing and dying. Of course there are plenty of police roles that don't require any kind of athletic fitness but they all require other specific skills, like training as an analyst and the suchlike. I'm not sure about other areas of the world, but all Police forces within Australia require you to complete the shuttle relay to a specific point, from something pathetic like 5.x in New South Wales to 9.x in South Australia. I know that to get into SAPOL you need to complete an obstacle course immediately after running 9.x, so it requires a bit of puff in the chamber. That's about 1600m in 20m increments getting progressively faster. No marathon by any stretch. I'm currently training for that. I'm applying this month. Mr.Mister
Already said, but I work in a IT company as a Technical Assistant. I help everyone with projects, moving stuff and office clean up. I manage the warehouse as well. Pretty chill gig. Spend lots of time drinking coffee and browsing reddit/gtaf

Akavari
I'm 18, just graduated and gonna start community college in the spring. Not sure what I want to do with myself, I planned on studying architecture since I was little but for me that's a lost cause; more of a hobby than a promising career pursuit. Plan on working a few different jobs in the meantime to earn some cash and decide what I want to do. I applied to Party City and I'm pretty much guaranteed the job. I know a few people working there so hopefully it will be an intimate working experience for the season. I'm also looking into working at the Wawa down the street from my house, seeing as I can walk there to spare me the cost of gas, but the place is a zoo and I feel like they won't give my application the time of day.
