AndrefromEstonia
Andre stay on topic or gtfo! I would reeeaaally want CJ to make a cameo! It would cool to see how he's doing nowadays. Same with Vercetti. Put a carrot in your ass. And why do you guys think theres going to be a gta 5 era? I don't think R* will be changeing the engine of the game. OK ok.... IF, something really stupid does happen, and the previous characters from 3 era will come back...i would like also Torreno, just because he was voiced by James Woods. Not any other SA characters, i didn't like those at all. From VC several but only if the next city will be VC.
Verdant
I dont think its possible for the III era Characters to return. If they did I'd say it depends where its set. Las Santos? Maybe CJ. Actually, If some people dont know I heard on one of the gamersheep's videos about GTA V that CJ is in the Rockstar studios so it's possible he can return in the next GTA. But, He wont be the proganist. Also, I liked Vercetti a lot. If he could return in the next GTA as a character to do missions with. It would be really cool... Otherwise, GTA will have new characters or some from IV. Like, Niko Bellic is a pretty huge hint and people have told me Rocco could be in the next GTA? Will have to see....Good Topic . Dymez
If they were to bring a few guys in, of course I wouldn't mind seeing CJ and/or Claude make an appearance in the game or even play a huge role. I figured they would be mentioned alot (as they were) so I decided to name another guy who I would very much like to see.... at least make a cameo appearance to rig a couple of cars; 8-Ball. Mokrie Dela
I personally would rather not. New characters, with a few IV/EFLC's returning. III era characters were fantatstic, but done. Move on, create something new. No point living in former glories. I don't think we'll see any of them return - except on TV/Radio. I would like for the radio to have a more III feel to it - the ads were just great imo. IVs not so much (though with the excetion of massive B and the rap stations, I loved the radio in IV) I think the best solution is radio/TV flashback humour and references. "Four Dragons Casino" Could be mentioned, having moved to Atlanta or something or having gone bust, things like that. The characters returning in physcial form? No (even though Tommy CANT return, due to discrepancies between Liota and R*). The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. gta_fan28
I would like to see Claude on GTAV as minor or a cameo characters, cause I wanna hear him talk or speak..
dirtycopVCPD
I don't really see any III era characters returning either. It might be like IV where characters and events from the III era games are alluded to, but I don't see any direct continuation.
_GTAFREAK_
Hey, dream when you are asleep. Face the facts, this will not happen. I hate when kids just think that things lik these should happen when its impossible. Everybody gives a sh*t. Rockstar isn't that stupid. ok just because they said they weren't gonna be in the 4 ERA, dont mean they cant be in the GTA5 Era, and beside so what if its not gonna happen, like half the wish list in the forums arnt gonna happen, its just wishful thinking( FYI El Burro was in the GTA1, Gta3, AND Gta 4 ERA's, so it could happen with other characters ) Just like I said before... totally agreed finally! CheesyJ
I don't know why some people seem to be so insistent on seeing some characters from previous eras returning. For me, it would be a poor decision by R* and would show a distinct lack of originality. We all know that they can easily create a bunch of great, memorable characters if they want to, so why would they go back and reuse a group of characters who we have already seen. The game would lack an element of surprise, as we would already know some characters inside out. I want to enter the unknown in the next GTA. I want to be left guessing as to what each character is like: not feel like the game is predictable and I can guess the next part of the storyline. Magic_Al
I don't know why some people seem to be so insistent on seeing some characters from previous eras returning. For me, it would be a poor decision by R* and would show a distinct lack of originality. A "new" character can seem unoriginal if it seems too similar to an old character. If they think of a story that would be perfect for an old character and they create a similar new character just to seem original then they'll still get called unoriginal. If the story's good there's no reason not to bring back a character who fits the story. Action movie star Jack Howitzer shot radio host Billy Dexter in GTA:SA, then GTA:TBOGT revealed he served 15 years in prison for that before being paroled and starting his own reality show. Ooo, actual story continuity between eras! Somebody's going to say that can't have happened.
