To be honest I think it's going to be announced very soon, we are getting a lot of leaks and ecetra. I hope what Xbox Magazine said is right, that it's going to be announced this Summer. IMO, Rockstar has to announce the game pretty soon. They can't risk that the game is getting leaked, like MW3 did. We'll see an announcement this year! I'm sure! Almost... But still, it's only ONE guy who left. How much could that possibly delay development? After at least 2 years (the same amount of time between the release of GTA VCS and GTA 4), the game should be in large part done, with maybe the finishing touches being put on as we speak. But, now, I'm really hoping for a release before Thanksgiving. That would make for the GREATEST BLACK FIRDAY EVER! as I said before. But I guess thats's just me being an in idealist................. Posted August 15, 2011 Share Posted August 15, 2011 (edited) It's not that the one guy leaving caused it to get delayed, it's just Rockstar North has been busy as hell ever since any of the work he did on the game back in '09. They've had to do work on L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption and who knows how much work has been done on Agent so far that's caused it to get pushed back. ACR Posted August 15, 2011 Share Posted August 15, 2011 At least it is confirmed that they are workng on new GTA, its strange that they call it GTAV, R* will use RAGE engine on new gta with little tweaks, maybe they call it V because they are not sure what name to give to tittle yet, it would be logical GTAIV: name of the city or state, since i doubt it will be new generation with totaly new graphics and engine, because we aonly had GTAIV and episodes... As for GTA V, it wouldn't surprise me if it has been delayed [which is normal] but without the publics knowledge this time. They don't want another GTA IV situation.
