carcols.dat
Is it possible to dynamically add and remove extra components to the player model, like guns not in use but currently being carried? Basically, I want a realism mod that shows an actual shotgun or whatever rifles he's carrying to his back. Maybe even some logic to limit the amounts of guns he can carry. Say, max three rifles visibly strapped to shoulder. Adding actual magazines in this same manner would be cool as well.
Symbiote
How about this? http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=13570
carcols.dat
Thanks! This one only renders the last rifle and skips smaller weapons entirely (not to mention ammo), but it seems like a good starting point.
Symbiote
By the way, I don't know if it will interest you, but I have a mod in my sig called Weapon Weight where weapons are carried in a duffel bag. It was much easier to code than attaching each individual weapon to the character, and it's also more realistic in my opinion.

When this idea first occurred to me I wanted a duffelbag to carry the guns in but assumed that for some reason that would be hard to implement,. I will be using yours, I think. If only this could be combined with the Equip Guns script to place stuff that won't fit in the bag on your back instead. That would be spectacular!
