Photo was a snip of the original photo that was on Instagram. I made it when I was around 13ish? It wasn't my finest work, but I was very pleased with it, even tho it is kinda unfinished and lacks some detail, and I did it more of a test with Chrome surfaces. Excuse the weird bright line by the bottom, Scanner's kinda weird. luisniko Posted June 9, 2017 Share Posted June 9, 2017 Nothing great to show here. This is a painting I did around a month ago when I found back my oil paint leftover. I decided to buy a small canvas, grabbed my god-knows-how-old paint brush and started painting a landscape of mountains and a field of flower. I literally didn't have any idea what I was doing, so I tried things out dashing, stroking, and knocking the oil paint on this small canvas. The result is nothing special; I didn't hang it on the wall. Until few days ago I saw sunlight shining through the window, hitting my painting diagonally, and I suddenly appreciate the dried paint splotches. Or disproportionate in general. It's difficult to get the camera the exact same way I look at the picture or how the eye see it in terms of scaling.
