Zapp 1,655
Didn't really focus on the shape I'm trying to improve my shading.
JulioG45 131
Didn't really focus on the shape I'm trying to improve my shading. to me shape doesn't matter as long as I don't get paid, but shading I always try no matter, what I would recommend is making shade for the eyebrow ridge and cheek bones even though a picture doesn't have it,makes it look more 3dish like the bone in the outer eyebrows and below the templesEdit:I see you did shade cheekbone on right side, and I see you got the gleam in the eye(very important in my opinion)I like it. Re-edit:blending always makes something easy to do look hard, and I know you don't like smudges but a cutip is my best friend,a brush works too but takes longer Edited June 12, 2015 by JulioG45

You seem to know how to blend judging by your drawings. They don't look dirty, but still it's not right.. not really wrong either. Lead 647
(Friend made me post another one. He says its not HD in first picture) I understand that coloring in the reflection of his glasses is noobish because its my first try in coloring s whats seen in reflection.Weapons is Sig Sauer P228 but its not recognizable in this pic. Reason is, i messed up the hand placement a bit so i had to make the gun bigger to make the iron sight match with his eyes. Please i need help noticing other problems and tips would be great too. Thanks.

Edit: Drawings from yesterday: I know what you mean, thing is I know how to blend, and you know how to shade, when ever I blend shade,my shade doesn't look like yours,it looks like a bunch a random dark lines and I blend till they disappeare into gray,I admire you for being able to shade in places where I would have to blend,I can only Imagine what I could do if i could shade like you and blend,it takes gentle strokes I imagine, then it would look right, but blending has no risk when using cutips cause it doesn't have the finger oil required to smudge, you can always erase because no smudge Rough sketch of what I want to draw but more things added and sweet with an ak Edited June 13, 2015 by JulioG45

*MURDOC* 4,798
Just finished colouring this one a few minutes ago. It was weird because I drew the eyes, nose, and mouth, and didn't finish the drawing until years later, as I have a bad habit of not finishing drawings or not finishing them until a long time later, it's kind of funny. Anyway, I think it was probably about 6 years between drawing the face and then the rest, then another year or so before I coloured it. Did you color it on hand or on a computer?
*MURDOC* 4,798
Drawn with ink, but coloured in Photoshop. I like the permanence of the ink for drawing, but I like the non-permanence of the digital colour, since I tend to make a lot of design changes while colouring, sometimes so drastic that if it weren't digital, I'd likely have to start over from scratch.Plus the digital colouring works well with my drawing styles, both from an aesthetic and work standpoint. Also, thank you. Edited June 22, 2015 by *MURDOC*

Marty McFly 3,114
//currently working on another Black Cat rendition, pictures soon. Not exactly hand-drawing but eh... this was an old school project of mine, where we did some synesthesia art - art based on sensual influences other than visual ones, such as sound/music. I picked as base and drew/painted what came into my mind whem listening to it. And this was a mothers day present, fineliner 0.05mm (yes, these actually exist) but the "larger" areas are colored with a thicker fineliner. It's A5 so the Big Ben is roughly the size of my small finger. Edited June 26, 2015 by Marty McFly
