p0p'0v
Hi there, I've installed GTA IV on my laptop: Dell Inspiron 17R N7110 ( 2630QM core i7, 8 gigs ram, GeForce 525M). I ran it first to see how it would peform, and it benchmarked about 28 fps on medium-high settings. After this I installed the icenhancer mod, and now the display options menu shows that I have 58 MB of video memory (before was 988), so the game is now running on the Intel HD 3000 integrated GPU (also, the NVIDIA driver reports no activity on the nvidia GPU when running the game). In the NVIDIA control panel the game is set to start on the NVIDIA GPU, but it keeps starting on the intel HD Graphics 3000. So the mod messed someting up... Help, anyone ? oh, btw, running on the lastest drivers. Edited August 14, 2011 by p0p'0v
YankeesPwnMets
Get rid of the mods.
OverTheBelow
ENB cannot be used properly with laptops that implement Nvidia Optimus, unfortunately. There is no way (that I know of) to make it run with the dedicated GPU with ENB series enabled, and believe me I've tried.
