Slamman Posted August 14, 2011 Share Posted August 14, 2011 I got a nutty idea, let's throw it on the "Sticky wall" and see what sticks I wondered, WHAT if YOU worked for Rockstar*, Rockstar North, and had a part in GTA V, and / or some say over what to make public, Since we don't know what THEY would do, What would YOU do if you were working for them / there? Also, part of this thread question is what part of the game would you like to be part of or you think could parlay your skill on?? For me, I'd love to add more then one character voice to it, not using my own voice, at least I wouldn't have fun doing it straight. I want GTA to have me as the main person because I'm cool. I also want some really good arcades because I want to beat the Rockstar games highscore! and I want all GTAs in one game. I seriously doubt they could do it, but as a concept, it works If set there of course! haha I'd say, They could use YouTube more effectively then with GTA IV, since no one was really going to Rockstar's site most of the time, They'd find R's own trailers hosted on user's YT accounts, and then when the game actually leaked earlier in some parts of the World, YouTubers were quick to share illicitly gotten game footage! Ah, I remember it well! At that time, Take2/Rockstar were feverishly pulling videos off, and halting this problem as best they could, but to take the lead using YouTube in their favor this time, should be very beneficial. If it's not announced by the end of next year, forget about it and wait for them to announce it with out predicting dates and then geting your hopes down. I think he was only hired to do IV, but he liked the attention and is trying to keep it by playing games with us. I wouldn't do that. When the game is released, I would admit my status as a viral marketer and also tell you if my contract ended. I know it is not an actual role but i would really enjoy being the ideas man, i am good at using something, and thinking of better designs that are more efficient/practical, or more fun in this case. grovestreet2010 Posted August 15, 2011 Share Posted August 15, 2011 Lets see, if worked for Rockstar I would make a trailer. It would show Roman dropping Niko off at Francis International. Niko gets out, waves to Roman and says "see you in". Roman says "two weeks, I have to finish some work here then I'll come". Niko turns around and walks toward the sliding doors as Roman drives away. Niko walks inside the airport and(yes you get to see the inside of Francis International) hears an announcement on the intercom,"flight xxx will take off in two minutes". Upon hearing the announcement Niko runs toward the checking counter. As the camera backs up you see Niko run toward one of the terminal doors. The camera continues backing up and goes through the sliding doors in the entrance and moves up into the air until you see the runway and a plane taking off.
