NaidRaida
Buy what you like. A quad core and a recent videocard with 1GB VRAM is minimum. 4GB RAM is also minimum today. My system to compare: - Core 2 Quad Q8200 - PNY GTX460 XLR8 1GB - 4 GB physical RAM, 3.5 used - Cougar 550W PSU - Vista 32 SP2 Made of a HP Pavillon basic system. I can run ENB/Icenhancer with 30-50FPS depending on game or mod settings.

NaidRaida
@upCore 2 Quad is outdated, you should get an Intel Core i5 instead My system can be interpreted as "low/medium system" for GTA 4 by now, especially the CPU but the results are a good compromise for me. Never been a real "Gamer!". I always state my system as "absolute minimim specs for having fun and good graphics".

Luxus
Listen, if you buy a Quad-Core processor, then you don't need so much ram. I have a Dual-Core processor and 2GB of ram. I am about to go to a PC World and buy a Quad-Core. So I need a lot of memory now, but not after I'll come back from shopping. Just bear that in your mind. It's all about the processor and a video graphics card.
