CrazyFerret
So I just upgraded my Radeon 5850, to a Radeon 6950... After reinatalling the drivers, etc... I went to play some of my games, and after trying to load up GTA IV, it is asking me for my Product Serial Key again to unlock/activate the game. Is this because I changed my video card? I was just playing GTA IV a few days ago and was not having any problems with it at all then... Why do I have to reactivate it?
mkey82
Well, it shouldn't ask, but it may
YankeesPwnMets
Just activate it. There are some unique circumstances under which you may have to re-authenticate the software on a machine. For example, if you change any two 'major' components on your PC, i.e. CPU and video card, you will have to re-authenticate the title. This was said back when GTA IV was first released to the PC
