CommonSeb Posted August 23, 2011 Share Posted August 23, 2011 I wrote this in another topic but guess it fit's here aswell... first trailer: Gameplay from gta 1 where the camera slowly zooms out, and just when the protag dies in a car chase you here a guy shout "F*ck this" and the camera zoom further out to reveal that it's all on an arcade machine. Pretty good reminds me of Duke Nukem forever, I would feel pretty cheated though if they only showed us what the arcade looks like and not parts of the city at least. Superzero Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 The screen fades in to the sunset over a the metropolis of the city, various shots of the city are shown, the small montage stops at a block of apartments, two shadows are seen, one of them, on the floor, clutching their chest, the other, holding a gun. "Wait, don't! I'll do anything!" The victim pleads, "I want answers!" The Hitman shouts, "I don't know what you are talking about!" The victim replies, "No, you know what I'm talking about! Don't bullsh*t me!" The Hitman shouts, The camera zooms out slowly, a gunshot is heard, the camera fades, showing the main character walk out of the apartments, gun in hand, a voice over cuts in: "People murder others, because they want to.." The main character walks away towards a car park "... I murder, because I have to ..." He walks up to a car, and enters it "... It's been 5 dark years ..." The main character starts up the car, as the engine roars to life "... I will find the answers ..." The car zooms off into the distance, as sirens are heard in the background, the screen fades away to the familiar blue V, with the words "COMING SOON" under it. Something I done in about 10 minutes, I think it's pretty good, obviously, being a teaser, would tease you, "What does he mean by finding answers?", "What has happened in the past 5 years?", such and such. "If you play the game...the game plays you." "If you change the rules, you yourself are forever changed." "If you break the rules of the game, you yourself are broken." "If you quit the game...we'll just have to find out." It then shows the sunset over a beach of vice city, and the view switches over to a man in a mansion, with money, girls, and drugs everywhere, looking like a pimp. The successful man then says, "I AM...The game" It then shows someone turning off there phone, and the view goes up showing the protagonist. He then loads his gun, steals a car, and drives off into the sunset. Suddenly a pink V comes up. The game was referring to pretty much the crime life and drug trafficking and selling and stuff. A voice says, "In a time when America was ready to party, I knew just what to do about it." A speed boat then fly past the screen. The song, Blinded by the Light by Manfred Mann begins playing. The screen then switches over to the back room of a club, a man snorts a line of coke then says, "Where did you get this stuff?" The protagonist replies, "Colombia." The man then says, "I can't feel my face..." Then shows the protagonist outrunning the police in a '73 Chevy Impala. Then pans down the Ocean Beach. Then BLACK SCREEN. Silence for a second. Then a voice says, "You want to do buisness together? I'd like to start right away." Then shows off the physics with gunfights as the protagonist shoots at some cubans with a carbine. Now, it shows two men in a room counting money. "3 million, I counted it twice." "No, 2.5 million I'm sure of it." "Where do I put it? "Try the closet!" The protagonist then replies, "We need a bigger boat." Then we see DEA agents busting up a coke deal, and the protagonist is there and puts his hands up. BLACK SCREEN. Action, music, out of context snips of dialogue. There's no new engine to show off this time so there'll be more meat on the bone. And we'll pick the ever-loving f**k out of it. Either way for every gta I have never watched the trailers, except IV but that was after the game came out for a while so that don't rele count. But you can count on me watching the 1st official trailer for this game! All the trailers are good in the OP's post. I'm sure the next gta will have a decent one too. I don't think that is realistic I mean when they are at point of only showing a teaser or a short trailer there are bound to be several changes to come from the process of reveal to the game's release. Brawly Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 I think the trailer will be nice and simple with just enough to give you a peak at the city maybe even showing flyable planes like the first trailer for San Andreas. We will get a small line of dialogue from the protagonist which should give us a hint to what type of person he will be.
