DLC weapons in origional

I have the original GTAIV and Episodes from Liberty City, I was wondering if there was a way for me to import the weapons from TBoGT to the original GTAIV?

I think it might work when you copy all the necessary weapon files to GTA IV and rename it to a weapon that is already part of it. Of course, with this method you´ll loose the original weapon.

It works for the cars, so why should that not work with the weapons, it´s the same engine. Finally it´s only a thought, I never tried this before but it work for other mod weapons.

Try to ectract the episode weapon and copy/paste the files to IV.

But which files are needed?

I read somewhere you can just add the filed needed for the weapons and write in their corresponding stats in weapons.dat and handling.dat.
