Rocktop Informant
Alright, just check me out on this before you burn me at the stake: What if fans here were to either call one of those psychic hotlines or go see a psychic and ask them what, when, where, and how about GTA Next? I know that police/investigators use them all the time, with stunning results. Even the most skeptical cops were shocked by some of these psychics visions or whatever. What if we all take it upon ourselves to try this and post the results? It could be interesting just to see what comes of it. Or, there could just be TROLLS who lie and say that they contacted a psychic and post a buncha bullsh^t and I wouldn't know how to decern the two. If someone here knows a psychic then maybe we could just get a couple of them to post what they see here themselves? Any Ideas or opinions? It could be stickied and referenced for all future game installments? Sound off

Smurfisevil
You can’t be serious, you might have better luck getting a prediction from a phone sex hotline then a psychic or fortune teller.
Shayan Shaffey
Here in iran we have a tradition to have a certain kind of coffee and use the remaining dried and dark parts of the coffee for fortune telling, I tried it and you have to wish for something so I wished fir GTA:V and then I had to put my finger in the cup and the fortune teller woman (one of my relatives) said that it was close, like the sun rising on the horizon. But I wouldn't look much into it.

It's definitely getting desperate for some kind of info(for me). Tommorrow I have to go a few towns over and there is a psychic there and I'm stopping by if it doesn't cost an arm and a leg and how much my wife makes fun of me . I'll post whatever the psychic says here if the thread is still here.

Zirvlok
Interesting... I don't personally know any psychics, but I'll be interested in the results. And if we get enough submissions that we can deem trustworthy, we can compare them and hopefully some of them will match up. Granted I'm a bit skeptical on the psychic thing, but I won't throw it aside. No harm in giving it a chance.

Untame Snail
I've been known to be able to "call it" every time I don't think at all. I don't believe it has anything to do with special powers, but I'll pull a trailer date out of my ass right now just in case. December 23. I don't even believe myself. Slamman
I used to think your name read Rockstar Informant, but I don't think you're making a good prediction for GTA NeXt, I'm bummed. Anyone who wanted to get a psychic prediction, it will cost you, I'd think. Remembering in regard to that, the Psychic used in Vice City as a Haitian "witchdoctor" woman, Miss Cleo? I forget it's been so long, but she'd know for sure! haha I should play it again, I know There she is, found her here... Finn 7 five 11
Yeah what a great idea! Lets get a bullsh*t psychic to make up a year and date and get all the morons hopes up. We won't know if its correct until the game comes out anyway, so we are no further than we were before.

Rocktop Informant
I'm no informant for R* nor do I know anybody that works for R*. Wish I did. As for a psychic prediction, I'm heading that way and as soon as I find something out and get back I will post it! Would I completely rely on it? No. But which ever one is 'accurate' is the one to use next time. I also thought about calling one of those psychic hotlines but I don't know. I'm not rich. Desperate times call for desperate measures though. (Too lazy to put in a sig.>----Yeahhhh, my grammar sucks!)

But I wouldn't look much into it. Coffee-reading is actually an Ancient Arabian tradition which first arose at the time when Arabs first started cultivating and trading coffee from Abyssinia, and believed coffee had somesort of magic properties (probably due to the high caffeine content). It is very common throughout the Arab world as well as parts of the old Byzantine Empire and later the Ottoman Empire, as the tradition got passed onto them. Lol I would have never thought it would be practiced in Iran as well, it was probably passed onto Persia during the Caliphate Empire and stuck all that time. I remember my relatives doing the exact same, as well as various other weird psychic/black-magic sh*t. I should contact my aunt and hopefully get answers about the next GTA from various methods. @ Untame Snail: Haha can't say I have the same abilities, but I will also call a guess out of my psychic ass and say that it wont be in VC. Reason being VC has already been done on this generation and was the very last game in terms of TBoGT. I know it was technically set in LC, but in terms of atmosphere and theme, it was essentially VC - the bright and colourful colour filters, the glitz and glamour, clubbing culture, coke and champaigne, and ridiculous excess in terms of all the celebrities. Apart from that, I honestly have no clue about the setting and era. Edited August 14, 2011 by D- Ice

GTA_stu
Someones been on wikipedia ^^^ I've never heard of a cop using a psychic, and I'm glad. Psychic's don't know sh*t, whether it's coffee, palm, crystal ball or some other weird form, it's complete BS. Mystic stu says: As mars moves closer to jupiter the cosmic tides shift, expect a new development soon! My god someone give me a medal for this. Well they: Took over Persia, destroyed the Zoroastrian Religion, burned the Avista, destroyed Persian culture and brought their own way of life into the Persian way of life, etc. etc. And now they want to rename the persian gulf. Iranians have their fair share of reasons to not like them and they don't like us either.
